Damon Perry & Amarion Caudle charged in Sango car hopping incidents

Police say 18-year-old Damon Perry entered a BMW parked at a residence on Clydesdale Drive near exit 11 in Sango. He reportedly took a Vera Bradley wallet, a Tennessee driver’s license, and various other cards from the victim’s vehicle. He told police during an interview that 19-year-old Amarion Caudle had been with him, and they were burglarizing vehicles together that night, “car hopping” through neighborhoods.

A few blocks away, the pair also entered a vehicle on Mountain Way, and during this incident, Perry acted as the lookout while Caudle stole various items from a vehicle. This incident was captured on a security camera.

Fort Campbell soldier Dalton Henderson blows 0.234% BAC after burnouts at APSU

Police say 23-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Dalton Wayne Henderson was in a Ford truck in the APSU McCord parking lot doing burnouts and spins. As officers approached Henderson, he reportedly reeked of alcohol and admitted to consuming eight alcoholic drinks that evening. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.234% BAC on a breathalyzer. A judicial commissioner noted he had a prior DUI case dismissed when he set his bond at $2,500.

Brianna Michelle Arquitt charged with harassing Natasha Herbaut

Natasha Marie Herbaut has taken out yet another harassment warrant for another woman in Clarksville. In an affidavit she swore out before a judicial commissioner on August 8th, she states that on July 23rd, 31-year-old Brianna Michelle Arquitt continued to contact her via call and text, despite telling her to stop. She says some of the messages were “offensive in nature.” Arquitt was booked on the outstanding warrant on August 15th and charged with harassment.

Andre Harris jailed after girlfriend says she was pushed and pulled during an argument

29-year-old Andre Dewaun Harris is charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend, Haley Starks, told police the couple had an argument and he grabbed her by the arms and pushed and pulled her around. Responding officers documented multiple bruises on the victim, which they say were consistent with being grabbed. This incident occurred on August 14th, and Harris was taken into custody on August 16th in Sumner County and transferred back to Montgomery County, where he remains jailed in lieu of a $500 bond.

DUI: Brendan Offutt — police find “human booger” on snort straw inside his vehicle

Just after 9 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to Dover Road regarding a report of a Buick swerving all over the roadway. Officer Hyatt located the vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Brendan Clark Offutt, which was now on Providence Blvd swerving from side to side. During the subsequent traffic stop, Offutt had extremely slurred speech, so much that most of his words could not be understood. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside the car, officers located a rolled-up paper made into a straw with white powder residue inside it and a “human booger” attached to one end.

Tyler Kelley charged in brutal assault of girlfriend after drinking bottle of vodka

26-year-old Tyler Jacob Kelley was jailed Tuesday after his girlfriend of sixteen months, Stephanie Hartley-Baker, says he shoved her to the ground, climbed on top of her, placed his hands around her throat, and used the entire weight of his body to press down on her. He only stopped when her young son, who was celebrating his first day of kindergarten, jumped on Kelley’s back and screamed for him to stop hitting his mother.

Melissa Webb charged with harassment of Natasha Herbaut

31-year-old Natasha Marie Herbaut says she is tired of being contacted by 21-year-old Melissa Webb and has repeatedly told her to cease contact. Despite those demands, she says Webb continues to text her phone and post messages to her on social media that are “offensive.” On August 8th, Herbaut went before a judicial commissioner and swore out a harassment warrant, and Webb was booked into custody earlier this week.

Joslyn Berry charged in domestic assault of her mother over car keys

Clarksville Police made contact with 25-year-old Joslyn Estel Berry Tuesday, who advised she and her mother, Dennine Berry, were in an argument over Joslyn needing keys to her vehicle. Joslyn admits she threw a sandwich while in the kitchen and then grabbed the knife she had used to make the sandwich and told her mother to stay away, but says she didn’t make any direct threats. She threw a different set of keys at her mother while holding the knife but eventually put the blade down and gave her the proper set of keys. Her mother says the keys hit her in the arm when they were thrown at her, leaving her with a bruise.

Soldier Kevin Lozano-Cruz faces 2nd DUI after speeding on Fort Campbell Blvd

THP Trooper Michael Hickmon observed a silver vehicle driven by 29-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Kevin Benjamin Lozano-Cruz traveling at 63 mph in a 40 mph zone on Fort Campbell Blvd on Saturday. As he conducted a traffic stop, the officer reported Lozano-Cruz had bloodshot, watery eyes, and reeked of alcohol. He admitted to consuming one shot of alcohol 25 minutes prior to the interaction and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was transported to the Sango ER for a blood test and then booked into jail for DUI 2nd, as he had a prior DUI conviction in 2017.

Donald James Hall charged with BUI at Liberty Park on a boat with children

TWRA Officers say 35-year-old Donald James Hall was violating a no wake zone at Liberty Park Marina on August 7th. When officers approached him on the water, they noticed two juveniles on the vessel with him, one of which was nine years old and not wearing a life jacket. When asked for his driver’s license to be issued a citation, Hall didn’t make eye contact and provided three cards that were not his ID before eventually providing the correct one.

Hall was allowed to back the trailer to load up his boat while the officer completed the paperwork. During this time, he was unable to drive safely and was ordered out of the vehicle, at which time he admitted to drinking “four beers” while on the boat, something he previously denied. He was taken into custody, and CPD waited with the children for their mother to arrive.

19-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Colton Everett May driving his Hyundai Genesis at 92 mph on Fort Campbell Blvd, where the speed limit is 45 mph. Clarksville Police Officer Darrius Robinson tracked the speed on a handheld radar and made the traffic stop. May stated he was aware of the 45 mph speed limit, but he was taking a friend to pick up a rental car. May was transported to jail and charged with reckless driving.

Pirtle Sisters found passed out in parking lot of Electric Cowboy in Clarksville

26-year-old Stephanie Lynn Pirtle and her sister, 28-year-old Summer Pirtle, were both charged with public intoxication Sunday after being found extremely intoxicated and on the ground between vehicles at the Electric Cowboy in Clarksville. Officers say Stephanie was passed out on the ground next to her sister’s car and was unable to get up on her own, and reeked of alcohol. Once Summer was woken up, she attempted to get in a car that wasn’t hers and was unable to care for herself.

Fort Campbell Soldier Curtis Sumner charged with two counts of domestic assault against girlfriend

22-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Curtis Lee Sumner now faces two domestic assault charges after his girlfriend, Trinity Jay, says she felt assaulted when he pushed her with his hand on her chest while arguing about their relationship. Additionally, she says that at about 5 p.m. on that same day, he kicked her on the left side of her body during an argument.

Officers spoke with Sumner, who says he left to stay at the barracks before things escalated. Trinity Jay refused to provide a written statement, and officers did not observe any visible signs of injury. Sumner returned to the scene and provided a statement to officers, and was taken into custody on two counts of domestic assault.

Lauren Degiosafatoo charged in assault of boyfriend after finding a text from his ex

Deputies responded to Chatfield Drive in the early hours of Thursday morning, where David Fekete advised his girlfriend, 30-year-old Lauren Degiosafatto, assaulted him after observing a text from an ex-girlfriend on his phone. He says she became upset and angry, then began to break things in the room before assaulting him and hitting him on the back. Ryan Dvorak says he heard the argument and then observed her attacking Fekete, so he picked her up and moved her in order to de-escalate the situation and separate the couple.

Four charged after suspicious U-Haul activity call finds Fentanyl, Cocaine, Heroin, meth pipes, and snort straws, oh my!

Clarksville police responded to a suspicious activity call on August 9th near the Waffle House parking lot in downtown Clarksville. Officers arrived to find several people, a car, and a U-Haul truck. 33-year-old Robert Griffith, along with 36-year-old Heather Ramey, were both placing bags into a Hyundai sedan with plates that belonged to a Texas truck. The driver of the Hyundai, 36-year-old Bobbi Nicholson, and her passenger, 31-year-old Megan Garcia, were unable to explain the improper registration. In plain view, officers say they found cocaine in a small bag inside the car. An in-depth search revealed Fentanyl, heroin, a meth pipe, marijuana, and four snort straws.

Auston White rented tools from Lowe’s and never returned them, store says

An arrest warrant states that 23-year-old Christopher Auston Lee White entered Lowe’s on Madison Street in April and rented a Husqvarna power pole pruner and a ‘Little Giant’ 16-foot ladder for a single day. When he did not return the items, the store emailed him, called him, and sent a certified letter. Despite all efforts to reach him, he never replied or returned the items, which had a retail value of $886.33. On July 12th, the store took out the warrant, and he was booked into custody on August 10th.

Jonisha Williams charged in death of dog tethered outside with no shelter, food, or water

In late July, Montgomery County Animal Care and Control visited the home of 32-year-old Jonisha Janella Williams to find her dog on an extremely short tether outside without shelter or water. She was issued a citation which she refused to sign. On August 9th, Clarksville Police responded to the home at the request of Animal Care and Control, who was already on the scene after a neighbor called about the dog now appearing to be deceased. After confirming no improvement had been made to the animal’s care, and it was now deceased, Officers took Williams into custody and charged her with aggravated animal cruelty. She immediately posted a $10,000 bond via 2nd Chance Bail Bonding and was released from custody.

Kristofer Batson charged after assaulting ex-boyfriend with kitchen pot, threatening his life

Officers responded to a home on Martin Street on Monday evening where Michael Leftwich told police that his roommate/ex-boyfriend 35-year-old Kristofer Tosh Batson had been threatening him when he arrived home. He stated Batson was following him around the house, asking for his car keys, and then asking to be taken to the hospital. Leftwich Batson threatened to kill him and then hit him with a kitchen pot before taking the keys and fleeing in Leftwich’s car. Officers issued a warrant for his arrest, and he was taken into custody Wednesday.
