22-year-old Jaden Cook called 911 while he was driving on 101st Airborne Division Parkway near the W Fork Bridge just after 5 a.m. on May 14. As officers responded to the area for a welfare check, the dispatcher convinced him to pull onto the shoulder of the road and stop the vehicle. Officers made contact with Cook, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated and “disorganized in his thoughts.” He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to booking.

Akia Smith pulls butter knife on boyfriend during argument about money

28-year-old Akia Smith is charged with domestic assault after she reportedly pulled a butter knife on her boyfriend, Demarcus Love, after she accused him of stealing her money. The argument happened in the early morning hours of May 14th after the couple returned home from Nashville and began to argue about the money they had made overnight. He had initially chest bumped her, causing her to first call the police. Love says he was in fear of bodily injury when she refused to put down the knife. The incident was recorded on the victim’s cell phone.

Exit 4 Wingstop dirty & moldy, per scathing health department inspection

An inspector with the health department conducted a routine inspection of Wingstop on Needmore Road Thursday, filing a scathing report about the cleanliness of the restaurant, with 16 violations. Earning a score of 83, the inspector found two hand washing sinks with issues, three pounds of wings that had to be embargoed due to being out of temperature, mold building inside the ice machine, sauces not covered, old food debris covering kitchen equipment in “substantial buildup and also covering the inside of coolers.” The report continued that the walls and floors were dirty with debris, and the condenser in the walk-in freezer was leaking and dripping on food products.

Oak Plains Youth Academy employee slams juvenile to the ground in assault — Carlos Joseph

32-year-old Carlos Joseph, an employee at Oak Plains Academy, was jailed on May 10th on an outstanding warrant alleging he slammed a 13-year-old student to the ground last year. Mr. Joseph tried to take some headphones from a student, but when the student didn’t release them, he slammed them to the ground. There was video evidence of the incident that revealed the student never acted aggressively toward Mr. Jospeh before the assault.

Iyanna Woods punches her boyfriend and his mom in the face during an argument

20-year-old Iyanna Woods was booked on May 7th after punching her boyfriend in the face in front of his mom at her home on Ladd Drive. Tyre Thomas and Woods live together at his mother’s house. They got into an argument, and Woods punched him in the face leaving him with swelling and a bloodshot eye. Latonya Johns separated her son and Woods, grabbed her grandchildren, and tried to get Woods out of the house. She was holding her grandchildren in her left arm when Woods also punched her on the right side of her face.

Grady O’Bryant charged with 3 AM DUI on Fort Campbell Blvd

44-year-old Grady O’Bryant was jailed on May 7th after police saw him swerve from the left lane to the shoulder of the right lane several times on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Police turned on their lights and sirens, but O’Bryant was slow to react and passed by several intersections and parking lots that would have been a safe place to pull over. When police finally made contact, O’Bryant slurred as he admitted drinking alcohol. He was unsteady on his feet as he performed poorly during field sobriety tests and blew a .143% BAC on the breathalyzer before throwing up.

Brittney Hall destroys boyfriend’s clothing & keys his car after breakup

33-year-old Brittney ‘Itty Bitty’ Hall was jailed on May 6th after keying her ex-boyfriend’s car when she returned his belongings to his home on Cave Road. Timothy Smith told police that he told his ex-girlfriend to return his belongings to him. Once they were dropped off, he noticed his two jackets and a hat were torn and destroyed beyond repair. A neighbor allowed police to watch the footage captured by their doorbell camera. Footage showed Hall arriving in a silver Ford Escape, throwing Smith’s belongings onto his vehicle, and walking around scraping the entire body of his car with an object.

Tommy Brooks charged with DUI after leaving troubled Electric Cowboy bar

38-year-old Thomas ‘Tommy’ Brooks was booked on May 6th after driving home drunk from the troubled Electric Cowboy. A citizen called the police stating that he was behind a Gray Truck on Madison Street that was weaving all over the road and going well above the speed limit. Officers responded and got behind the truck; once they observed the truck swerve, they pulled Brooks over for questioning and asked if he would consent to sobriety tests. Brooks performed poorly and told police he could not continue the tests as he was unsteady on his feet and struggled to stay balanced. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

DUI: Maleah Ferguson-Ridley drives through crime scene after leaving ‘the club’

21-year-old Maleah Ferguson-Ridley was jailed on May 7th after driving past police while drunk on Riverside Drive. Police were investigating an unrelated incident when Ferguson drove her truck trying to get past the ambulance and patrol vehicles for a nearby crime scene. When police spoke with her, she smelled of alcohol and was slurring her speech as she explained that she was coming from “the club.” She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to Sango ER for a blood draw before being transported to booking.

Harold Hairston jailed after “throwing his wife around like a rag doll” during argument

24-year-old Harold Hairston was jailed on May 5th for assaulting his wife after an argument about him helping with the kids. Kristina Rollins told police that the argument turned physical when he got in her face and grabbed her phone. Kristina tried to grab her phone back which resulted in him grabbing her and throwing her around. He tried to pull her off the bed and then started strangling her with one hand around her throat. Police could see marks and scratches around her neck. Kristina told police she tried to fight back by grabbing and scratching his neck. The altercation ended when Hairston left the house. Destiny Brazil witnessed the incident and told police that Hairston was extremely aggressive toward Kristina and “threw her around like a rag doll.”

Kadarius White bites hand of ex-girlfriend when she refused to return gifts

26-year-old Kadarius White reportedly appeared at the home of his ex-girlfriend, Jordyn Johnson, unexpectedly late at night on April 29 and demanded the return of all the items he had purchased for her. When she refused to let him take anything, the argument escalated, and she says he began to throw her around the living room. He then reportedly bit her on the hand and strangled her until she says she went unconscious. At the time of his arrest, White also had an outstanding warrant for drug possession.

Soldier Eli Jeter charged in domestic assault of girlfriend while attempting to take her phone

19-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Eli Jeter was jailed on May 1 after police say he assaulted his ex-girlfriend, Lamarianna Scrivens. The two were reportedly in an argument while inside her car at the Bluffs over the Cumberland apartment complex. She called 911 to report he assaulted her and fled the complex. Officers were able to locate Jeter, who says they were arguing about ‘relationship issues,’ and he grabbed her by her shoulders and arms to pull her toward him in an attempt to take her cell phone out from her.

42-year-old Army Senior Operations Manager Blake Wilson was jailed on May 7, charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Heather Wilson. Police say an argument started after Blake attacked his wife’s emotional support dog with a Swiffer Sweeper, hitting the dog multiple times in what he called “punishment.” As she screamed for him to stop hitting the dog, he became angrier and reportedly raised his hand at his wife, placing her in immediate fear of being struck as he turned to face her with an open palm. Their juvenile daughter witnessed both assaults.

Shakera Smith “flips out” on ex-girlfriend, after showing up at her house drunk

31-year-old Shakera Smith was jailed on May 5th after slapping her ex-girlfriend in the face at her home on Beech Street. Shanon Palmore told police that she allowed Smith to stay the night when she arrived drunk. They started arguing, and then Smith started “flipping out.” She began throwing glasses in the kitchen and slapped Palmore in the face. Palmore locked herself in the bedroom so Smith couldn’t get to her, but Smith started kicking the door and trying to pick the lock to get to her. Palmore was so afraid she crawled out of her bedroom window and ran to the neighbor’s house to call 911. When she returned home, Smith was gone, and she had taken her cell phone, valued at $1,200.

Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Williams-Harrell, 26, charged in rape of 16-year-old girl

26-year-old Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Corrections Deputy Justin Williams-Harrell is charged with the felony aggravated statutory rape of a 16-year-old girl. The victim disclosed to her parents that she met Harrell through Facebook, where he used the name ‘Miles Morales.’ She believe him to be 23 years old when they first met, but eventually learned his true age throughout their relationship. She disclosed they had sexual intercourse at least three times at his apartment at the Villages at Peachers Mill in Clarksville. Williams-Harrell was interviewed on April 28 at the Sheriff’s Office, during which he admitted to having sex with the 16-year-old victim. His employment was also terminated at that time.

Mary Schlernitzauer shot and killed a neighbor’s bloodhound puppy

61-year-old Mary Schlernitzauer was jailed on May 3 after shooting and killing a five-month-old Bloodhound puppy belonging to Khristina Knight, which reportedly jumped a fence and came onto her property. Mary initially claimed the puppy attacked her miniature dachshund dog, but then advised she was able to get her dog inside to safety, and the puppy posed no danger when she retrieved a shotgun and came back outside and shot it.

22-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Tyler Garner was jailed on May 3 on a series of outstanding warrants charging him with a plethora of shoplifting incidents at the Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd in Clarksville. The incidents were on May 2, 2022: $43.28; May 10, 2022: $16.14; May 13, 2022: $85.93; May 31, 2022: $355.48; June 3, 2022: $11.89; and on June 17, 2022: $92.17… all totaling just over $600.

Fort Campbell soldier Clint Gardner charged in 2 a.m. DUI after crash

Police say 25-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Clint Gardner ran a red light in his red El Camino on Fort Campbell Blvd just before 2 a.m. on April 30 and struck another vehicle. He suffered injuries from the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment. Gardner admitted to drinking prior to driving but would not elaborate on how much or how long before. He reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech, according to first responders.

Uber driver Bill Schenk charged with DUI, blamed it on passengers

When 59-year-old William ‘Bill’ Schenk was pulled over for making an illegal u-turn just before 3 a.m. on April 29, officers say he reeked of alcohol. Schenk stated he had been escorting many drunk people throughout the night as he was an Uber driver. He did not have an excuse for why he performed so poorly on field sobriety tests, or had watery and blood-shot eyes.
