20-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Austin Farris is free on a $5,000 bond after Clarksville Police say he struck his sister’s boyfriend across the face and mouth with a baseball bat.
An arrest warrant states the incident happened on January 3rd, as officers responded to an assault in progress at 214 State Line Road. The victim explained there was an argument between the two and Farris grabbed a baseball bat and struck him in the mouth.
Austin Ray Farris was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, charged with felony aggravated assault. Farris is a soldier in the U.S. Army and is free on a $5,000 bond.
