Teresa Naufel aims car at children and speeds toward them in road rage incident

42-year-old Teresa Blackman Naufel faces two felony counts of reckless endangerment after police say video doorbell footage shows her yelling at children and then turning around and purposefully driving directly toward them, and stopping just inches short of where they were standing.

Police responded to Barnhill road just after 1 p.m. on January 17, where children were playing in front of an address in the street. Naufel was approaching, and the children moved out of the road to allow her to pass. As she did, she yelled at the children, and they returned to playing after the car passed.

Teresa Naufel then made a sharp u-turn and drove back to the area at a high rate of speed, with her car pointed directly at the playing children, placing them in fear of being hit by the car. She stopped inches from the children. She fled the scene, but police were able to identify her and her vehicle from ring video doorbell footage, which captured the incident.

Teresa Leigh Blackman Naufel of Wingfield Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on January 17, charged with two felony counts of reckless endangerment.
