Corey Johnson jailed over $16 drywall damage

18-year-old Corey Johnson was jailed on April 2nd after trespassing at a construction site on Center Road. Police responded to a call stating that two people were on the roof of the apartments being built. Johnson was initially issued a trespassing warning for the property; however, after the property manager walked through the building, he found damage to the drywall that wasn’t there before. When police tried to take Johnson into custody, he resisted arrest by locking his arms so he couldn’t be handcuffed. He also kicked the patrol car while he was being placed in the back seat. The property manager estimated the cost of the drywall to be $16.

Corey William Johnson of Talon Hills Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 2nd, charged with aggravated criminal trespass, resisting arrest, and summons. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,500.

  1. Here is a title for you, teen is arrested for damages on a construction site, resisting arrest instead of just teen arrested for 16 dollars damages. This is the reason why people go after each other online and here I give you the reason why our country is angry over shit like that title.
