25-year-old Ah-Ra-taza Bon Ya-Shar-ahla Byrd was involved in an altercation with his brother, Makarri Byrd on August 29th. When officers spoke with Ah-Ra-Taza, he stated that during an argument, Makarri pushed him in the chest and punched him in the face. Law enforcement reported that upon interviewing Ah-Ra-Taza, they found the statements that Ah-Ra-Taza provided conflicted with Makarri’s.
Due to both of them having visible injuries and officers being unable to determine the primary aggressor, both brothers were taken into custody. Ah-Ra-Taza Bon Ya-Shar-ahla was then transported to booking and charged with domestic assault.
Ah-Ra-Taza Bon Ya-Shar-ahla Byrd of Sam Houston Circle in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 29th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $500.
