19-year-old Jayden Grammes was jailed on February 14th after officers responded to Ashton Drive for a possible stabbing. Jordan Grammes stated that his older brother stabbed him and cut his mother, Jeanine Grammes, during an altercation in the kitchen. According to Jordan, Jayden charged him with a knife, which is when their mother stepped in to separate them, but the two men fell to the floor. Jayden continued to try to stab his brother and succeeded by severely cutting his pinky finger. Jeanine also sustained a cut on her left arm and a slash on the back of her forearm. Jayden Grammes was taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault.

Khaleaya Cherry chases husband with knife and threatens to slit mother’s throat
29-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Khaleaya Cherry was involved in an altercation with her husband, Jeremy McKenzie, and mother, Denise Bray, at Fort Sumter Drive on February 11th. After returning home from a date night, the couple got into an argument in their bathroom, leading to McKenzie calling his mother-in-law to de-escalate the situation. McKenzie turned away to leave the bathroom to get some space, but Cherry punched him in the back of his head. He continued on his way out of the room and went downstairs with Cherry still pursuing him. While downstairs, Cherry went to the kitchen, grabbed a large knife, and began to chase McKenzie back up the stairs. McKenzie was able to make it back to their bedroom and lock himself in. Cherry then went to her mother’s room and began an argument with her as well. During the argument, Cherry started punching her in the face while still holding the knife. Cherry then put the knife to her mother’s throat and said that she would kill her. Officers made contact with Cherry, who stated that nothing got physical with her husband but wouldn’t go into detail about what happened with her mother. Khaleaya Cherry was taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated domestic assault.
Mark Thomas threatens sister-in-law with gun during argument
50-year-old Mark Thomas was involved in an altercation with his sister-in-law, Juanita Thomas, at Sevenmile Ferry Road on February 13th. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and came into contact with Juanita. Juanita stated that she was in an argument with Mark when he suddenly pulled a gun on her. After their argument, Juanita told Mark to leave. Juanita then came to talk to Mark in his room, but when she opened the door, she saw him pointing a gun at her. Mark proceeded to take Juanita’s phone and threw it outside. Once Juanita recovered her phone, she came back inside and noticed that Mark was gone and her car was missing. Mark Thomas was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Shannon Dattilo attempts to run over boyfriend during dispute
41-year-old Shannon Dattilo was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Jerrod Davenhauner, at their shared Charlestown Road residence on February 25th. While Jerrod was walking in the yard, Shannon revved her vehicle and sped toward him, stopping just before hitting him. Jerrod mentioned to officers that he felt the bumper touch his back while he was on the ground. Jerrod stated that he genuinely thought that he was “done for.” A witness said she heard an engine rev and saw Shannon inside the vehicle speeding towards Jerrod. Shannon Dattilo was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Jeremy Rugante high on drugs attacks childhood friend
36-year-old Jeremy Rugante was involved in an altercation with his childhood friend at Paradise Hill Road on February 24. When the victim opened the door, he saw Rugante, his childhood friend, so he let him inside. He noticed that Rugante seemed to be under the influence of drugs and was getting loud, so he told him that he needed to leave. This made Rugante upset, so he pushed him to the ground and started punching and kicking him until he lost consciousness. There were witnesses to the assault who stated that they heard a commotion in the living room and saw Rugante punching and kicking the victim, who seemed unresponsive. Once Rugante saw the witnesses, he left out the front door and did not return. Jeremy Rugante was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
Tyrone White pulls butcher knife on girlfriend
21-year-old Tyrone White was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Diasha Smith, at their shared Bristol Ridge apartment on February 25th. When officers arrived regarding a complaint, they came into contact with Smith, who informed them about an argument with White over her doing his hair. After the argument, they were in the hallway and bumped into each other, and White pushed her. Smith proceeded to pace around the apartment, crying and screaming while White tried to hush her. White told her to be quiet before he hit her again. Smith walked into the bedroom to sit down, and another altercation occurred where he hit her two more times. Smith ran to the kitchen to find a knife to defend herself, but White blocked the drawer and pulled a butcher knife. White then pretended to cut her, causing her to scream. While she was screaming, White told her to be quiet, but she continued, prompting him to grab her from behind and strangle her to the point that she passed out.
When she passed out, White dragged her to the bedroom, where he locked the door and refused to let her out. White proceeds to tell Smith that he is going to do something to her family if she ever calls the police. Smith is able to make it into the living room, but White is right behind her and makes it to the front door before her. She grabs her belongings and asks him to move, to which he complies. Once Smith was outside, she began knocking on nearby doors. White begged her to stop knocking and told her he would take her home. Smith agreed and sat on the stairs next to the apartment. Once White went inside to get dressed, Smith went to the floor above theirs and knocked on other doors until one neighbor answered. The neighbor let her in and called 911 for her. Smith was transported to Sango ER due to a swollen right eye and possible jaw injury. Tyrone White was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Jalan Gibson slaps girlfriend in her face during argument
25-year-old Jalan Gibson was involved in a domestic altercation with his now ex-girlfriend, Naomi Pfundi, at Lake Road on December 4th, 2023. Pfundi explained to law enforcement that when Gibson let himself in that morning, he started an argument with her in her bedroom. Amidst the argument, Gibson began to strangle Pfundi. When she got free, she walked to the kitchen, where Gibson slapped her in the face and followed her into the living room, where he hit her again. Pfundi provided law enforcement with video evidence of the altercation, as well as Gibson admitting to slapping her. Jalan Gibson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Walter Jackson strangles girlfriend with electrical cords
37-year-old Walter Jackson was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Jerrisha Murray, at Cheshire Drive on February 17th. After Murray arrived at Jackson’s house, she walked upstairs to his room, where they talked about going to her son’s ballgame. During their discussion, Murray mentioned that he needed to mow the grass, making him argumentative and angry. The argument escalated to Jackson punching her in her right eye, leaving it swollen shut. Once she fell to the floor, Jackson grabbed a cord from an electronic device and strangled her with it. Murray was able to get loose and run downstairs. As she ran downstairs, Jackson threw her phone at her head and followed her down the stairs, where he proceeded to punch her 5 to 6 times before she left. She drove to Old Russellville Pike, where her friend called for an ambulance.
Galashay Weaver threatens ex-boyfriend with gun during altercation
22-year-old Galashay Weaver was involved in a domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend, James Bullard, on February 10th. Weaver showed up at Bullard’s residence and kicked on his front door, leaving a footprint on it. Weaver proceeded to take a small cooler that was outside his home and threw it at the door as well. Attempting to scare Bullard, Weaver reached into her purse and pulled out a handgun. Weaver proceeded to leave shortly after. Galashay Weaver was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Kevin Mesa strangles multiple coworkers during argument at gathering
29-year-old Kevin Mesa was involved in an altercation with his co-workers, Marissa Johnson and Alexis Bryant, at a get-together on Edmondson Ferry Road early February 10th. Johnson and Bryant hosted a get-together at their home. During the gathering, Mesa got into an argument with Johnson. The argument escalated to Mesa putting Johnson in a chokehold. Johnson stated she could not breathe, so Bryant intervened to get Mesa off of Johnson. Due to this, Mesa then put Bryant into a chokehold as well. Johnson began to strike Mesa in the head with a fist, causing him to let go of Bryant. Mesa and his wife then left the residence. Johnson stated that she also could not breathe when she was held in a chokehold by Mesa. Kevin Mesa was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
Derek Nicholson violates release conditions after hitting girlfriend in nose during argument
24-year-old Derek Nicholson was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Alexis Harman, at High Street on February 5th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, Nicholson was seen running away into the woods behind the house. Harman made contact with the officers and told them that Nicholson had hit her in the nose. Harman stated this assault was during an argument regarding her phone, leaving her with bloody nostrils. A witness also confirmed that Nicholson struck her in her nose. Officers later learned Nicholson has an active COR with Harman, which he violated by assaulting her. Derek Nicholson was taken into custody and charged with contempt and aggravated assault.
Tyeisha Pace assaults boyfriend with lightbulb during argument
24-year-old Tyeisha Pace was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Lamont Lockhart, at the Baltimore Drive Townhouses on February 6th. Officers arrived and contacted Lockhart, who stated that he and Pace had an argument that got physical. Lockhart advised that Pace punched him in the face, hit him with a lightbulb, and hit him in the face with a cup containing milk. This led to Lockhart sustaining numerous injuries, including a bruised and swollen lip, a contusion/bruise behind his ear, and marks on his neck. Officers also noted that Lockhart was drenched in milk. When officers spoke with Pace, she stated there was a dispute, but it didn’t get physical. Tyeisha Pace was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
Brandy Bauer threatens roommate with knife during argument
45-year-old Brandy Bauer had an altercation with her roommate, Bardomlano Sixto, at their residence on Power Street in the early hours of February 8th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Sixto, who advised that he and Bauer had argued. He explained that during the argument, Bauer went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife before stepping toward him. Then, Bauer dropped the knife and pushed him onto the ground. Bauer was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault.
Chasity Jones punches boyfriend’s face multiple times during altercation
33-year-old Chasity Jones was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Lawrence McClung, at the apartment on Peacher’s Mill Road on December 27th, 2023. The dispute began with a verbal argument between Jones and McClung. The argument became heated as Jones started punching McClung in the mouth several times. The punches left multiple abrasions on McClung’s lips. McClung was then able to separate himself from her and call 911. Officers later discovered that Jones has an active COR with McClung listed as a protected party. Chasity Jones was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Andrew Folk breaks wife’s ribs after being accused of Pedophilia
38-year-old Andrew Folk was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Michele Shatka, at Lafayette Point Circle on December 17th, 2023. The conflict began when the couple was drinking, and Shatka accused Folk of liking underage girls, which caused him to become angry. Folk then lunged for Shatka’s throat, and she fought him off. The couple continued to argue when Folk’s dog bit her. Folk then choked and shoved Shatka against the footboard of the bed. When Shatka got thrown against the bed, she could not breathe and believed her ribs to be broken. Folk then called 911, stated that he thought that Shatka’s ribs were broken, and then fled in his vehicle. Folk was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Stephanie McCracken attacks her sister
39-year-old Stephanie McCracken was jailed on February 4th after assaulting her sister on LaLonde Circle. Savana Taylor told police that she and her sister had gotten into an argument. During the argument, Savana grabbed her by the neck and strangled her, constricting her airway. Savana added that she was also hit several times in the face. Officers observed a bloody nose and red marks on her neck, consistent with being strangled. McCracken was deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody.
Tammy Williams assaults wife with kitchen knife during argument, caught with crack cocaine
53-year-old Tammy Williams was involved in a domestic altercation with her wife, Karen Latham, at the Turtle Creek Townhomes on January 26th. The couple were in the midst of an argument when Williams armed herself with a kitchen knife and held it to Latham’s throat. When officers searched Williams’s person, they located a bag containing what looked to be a white rock and a plastic pipe wrapped with wire. The white rock substance tested positive for Crack Cocaine. Tammy Williams was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault, simple possession or casual exchange, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Demarrio Borum assaults girlfriend, grabs officer’s taser during altercation
23-year-old Demarrio Borum, an employee of Sanderson Pike, had an altercation with his girlfriend, Ms. Patterson, at his Trenton Village apartment on January 28th. Patterson spoke with officers when they arrived, advising them that Borum pushed her down onto her bed, placed his hand on the base of her neck, and choked her. Patterson said Borum let go, and she went to the living room to gather her belongings. Borum then pushed her onto the couch. Patterson said she left the apartment when Borum told her to. Officers deemed Borum as the primary aggressor and went to detain him. When detaining Borum, he pulled away, so officers brought him to the ground. While on the ground, Borum grabbed an officer’s taser, pulled on it, and broke the cartridge. The estimated value of the cartridge is $100.00. Borum was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault, assault against a first responder, resisting arrest, and vandalism.
Soldier Trevor Zandt assaults girlfriend during multiple altercations
27-year-old US Army Soldier Trevor James Zandt had an altercation with his girlfriend, Mackenzie Underwood, at their Falkland Circle residence on January 19th. Underwood spoke with the authorities on January 26th due to another altercation, advising them of both incidents. Underwood stated that she and Zandt argued for most of the day on January 19th. Later that day, Zandt came up behind her in the kitchen, placed his arm around her neck in a chokehold, and strangled her. She provided a picture from the day after showing a bruise on her neck. Underwood then explained the altercation that occurred earlier that day, advising that Zandt grabbed her legs and attempted to pull her out of her vehicle. Underwood and Zandt both told officers about an unreported domestic history between them. Zandt was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault on January 26th.
Natasha Johnson punches ex-husband, attempts to crash car during argument
38-year-old Natasha Johnson was jailed on January 18th for assaulting her ex-husband. Clifford Johnson told police he was picking up his daughter from a dental appointment. While driving, he and Natasha began to argue in the car. Natasha then threw a cup at Clifford, which hit him in the shoulder. She then threw a second cup at him, but she missed, and the metal cup cracked the windshield. Clifford told police that Natasha then punched him in the face multiple times. Then, Clifford ended up running off the road and nearly into the grass on 101st due to Natasha grabbing the steering wheel and pulling it downward. Clifford stated that Natasha then grabbed his glasses and broke them in her hands.
According to Natasha, she punched Clifford three or four times in the face, but she never hit him with the cup because she missed, and it hit the windshield. Natasha also admitted to grabbing the steering wheel and advised that she intended to damage his car. Due to their child being in the backseat during the time of this reckless behavior, it was determined that the child was placed in danger.
