Oak Plains Youth Academy employee slams juvenile to the ground in assault — Carlos Joseph

32-year-old Carlos Joseph, an employee at Oak Plains Academy, was jailed on May 10th on an outstanding warrant alleging he slammed a 13-year-old student to the ground last year. Mr. Joseph tried to take some headphones from a student, but when the student didn’t release them, he slammed them to the ground. There was video evidence of the incident that revealed the student never acted aggressively toward Mr. Jospeh before the assault.

Shalyn Phelps attacks & pepper-sprays man who backed into her car at Walmart

Police say 30-year-old Shalyn Phelps assaulted a man who backed into her vehicle at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Whitfield Road on April 4. Phelps says Daniel Ritche carelessly backed into her car, and that’s when she exited her vehicle and began to bang on his truck windows. Ritchie exited his truck, and Phelps began to attack him, landing some punches to his face. When he pushed her away, she pepper-sprayed him. Officers documented blood and scratches on the victim’s face.

Bruce Tidwell pulls deputy into cell with him and bites his leg at Montgomery County Jail

22-year-old Bruce Tidwell was found slumped over his steering wheel on the side of the highway. On 02/19/2023, Officer Wright responded to a welfare check After THP Trooper Crysel was unable to get a response from Tidwell, who was passed out over his steering wheel. After banging on the window and shouting, Tidwell was able to exit the vehicle but was so intoxicated he fell asleep while standing up and staggered around. He would not comply with sobriety tests, and the decision was made to take Tidwell into custody. Once Tidwell was told he was being handcuffed, he started to fight back violently, causing himself and the officer to fall to the ground in a struggle. He was finally escorted to the patrol car.

The officer opened the door to remove a bag and Tidwell kicked the door shut on him causing the officer to fall and causing damage to the inside of the vehicle. Tidwell was finally taken to booking. Once there, Deputy Cornett responded to deputy needs assistance call. Upon arrival Tidwell was kicking at other deputies and screaming, “I AM NOT STAYING IN THIS CELL!” He wrestled the deputy into the cell with him. During this time, he also bit the deputy in the leg.

Dena Evans kicks and spits on first responders who save her from wrecked vehicle

51-year-old Dena Evans was found face down in the driver’s seat with her foot trapped in the dashboard of her overturned vehicle on February 9 at 5 p.m. As firefighters extracted Evans from the wreckage, she began yelling and cursing at them and kicked them while they placed her on a spine board. Once loaded onto a stretcher, Evans began to spit at the first responders. She was highly intoxicated, and an open bottle of Old English 800 was found inside the vehicle.

Dylan Kolenda charged in assault of neighbor during drunken debacle

Remember 22-year-old Dylan Kolenda, who in December drunkenly broke into his neighbor’s home, believing it was his own? He was charged with public intoxication at the time and released from custody. The homeowner, Gregory Brooks, then sought out an additional warrant for assault, which Kokend was booked on this week. Brooks says that during the interaction, Kolenda was hitting his TDOC-issued government vehicle. When confronted, he reportedly assaulted Brooks, who is a 240-pound security professional, leaving scratches on his face and an injury to his left leg. Brooks signed an affidavit, and a magistrate issued the private-prosecution warrant.

Molina Iraldo calls police to remove woman from her home, spits on her

22-year-old Molina Rachel Iraldo called police on January 16 to have Ashley Turner escorted out of her apartment. Officers arrived and assisted as Turner was unable to prove residency. As Turner was exiting on her own accord, Molina aggressed toward her, and officers intervened before she could make contact. Molina then came outside, too, and began throwing Turner’s property around the area and causing a disturbance to the public. She refused commands to stop her behavior, and officers placed her in cuffs, detaining her for disorderly conduct. At that time, she turned toward Turn and spit on her, gaining her an additional charge for assault.

Crystal Smith pepper sprays another driver during road rage incident

34-year-old Crystal Nicole Smith was driving on Tobacco Road in November when the car in front of her, driven by Brianne Gonzales, slowed down due to mechanical issues. As the first car arrived home and pulled into her driveway, Smith was still upset and raging about the car’s slow speed and pulled into the driveway behind Brianne, who was a stranger to her. She then began yelling and screaming from her road rage, and Brianne approached her vehicle and told her to leave the property. Crystal retrieved her peppers spray and spayed it out her window onto Brianne, covering her with it before fleeing the scene. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked on it this week.

33-year-old Julieann Danielle Hutchens was arrested this week on an outstanding warrant charging her with assault. She is accused of “knocking her caregiver off her feet,” according to court documents. The caregiver, Chawanna Mockabee, says she disconnected the phone in the residence due to “non-authorized phone time,” resulting in Hutchens attacking her.

Melinda Sanchez says she was at Wolff Auto Sales on Providence Blvd when 45-year-old Brian Ray Wolff became argumentative with her and her husband. She says Wolff then pulled a gun and pointed it at the couple, then placed the gun on the table and physically assaulted Melinda, throwing her across the room. Wolff is charged with assault and is free on a $5,000 bond.

Gary Wright assaults mother while she watches Yellowstone in shared hotel room

Giner Love was at the InTown Suites Sunday night with her 48-year-old son, Gary Dean Wright, as she watched Yellowstone and Gary drunkenly slept. Clarksville Police were called to the room for the report of a domestic disturbance and could hear yelling from outside the room as Gary called his mother derogatory names. Gary initially told police his mother had assaulted him but could not provide any details.

His mother told police she was watching her program when he woke up from a drunken sleep and slapped her in the face multiple times. Officers documented blood on bother sides of her nose from the assault.

Katrina Malone jailed over beef with Arby’s manager

32-year-old Katrina Ann Malone tried to forcibly get into the Arby’s on Fort Cambell Blvd, where manager Donna Sleeper was standing inside attempting to keep her out. The two had just been involved in an automobile accident on Fort Campbell Blvd, and both pulled into the parking lot, and Sleeper ran inside the building when Malone began yelling at her. Sleeper reportedly sustained scratches and bruising from the assault, and a warrant was issued for Malone’s arrest.

Raymond Wright faces felony aggravated assault charge after road rage incident

Clarksville Police say 51-year-old Raymond Wright was driving behind another vehicle Wednesday morning on Kraft Street at 8:30 a.m. and began to honk his horn at the vehicle in front of him. He then passed the car, and the car was concerned about his road rage and followed Wright to the Kroger at Dover Crossing to record his tag information. Both cars arrived at the Kroger and pulled near each other, and a verbal argument started between the Wright and the two individuals in the other car. Wright is then alleged to have exited his vehicle and tapped on the other driver’s window with a knife with the blade open in what she perceived to be a threatening manner. Officers retrieved a knife matching the given description from Wright’s vehicle. He is charged with felony aggravated assault.

Ta’Zaiah Fairrow charged with punching two different men in recent months, one a teenager

Police say 18-year-old Ta’Zaiah Juleiah Ann Fairrow began to punch the father of her child, Michael Scott, in the face three times while in the parking lot of Dodge’s convenience store on Fort Campbell Blvd on August 21st. As he exited his driver’s seat to get away from her attack, she climbed into the driver’s seat and drove the vehicle away. At the time of her arrest for this assault, she had an outstanding warrant charging her with the assault of a 16-year-old child at a Domino’s Pizza in February.

24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Brooke Kimbria Fletcher is charged with two counts of assault after a fight at the Waffle House on Fort Campbell Blvd. Victims Angel Sanders and Abramian Elayshia ‘Lay’ Majors both swore out warrants after being injured in the rumble. Both affidavits detail Fletcher grabbing their hair and punching and beating the victims, leaving them with several injuries, including swelling, scratches, and bruises. SMIC Director Nuno Resende charged in assault of two women in Clarksville

42-year-old Clarksville business owner Nuno Resende (Nuno Ricardo Pereira Resende) is charged with the domestic assault of his mother-in-law, Maria White. Police say he was intoxicated and arguing when he began to throw things in the kitchen of his home. During the tantrum he demanded to hold his baby, so his wife and mother-in-law took the child and retreated to the master bedroom, locking the door behind them. They say Nuno kicked open the door and pushed his mother-in-law, Maria White, onto the bed during the assault.

When police responded to take him into custody it was discovered he also had an outstanding warrant for assault on another woman, Jenny Neves, from 2019. That warrant alleges he pushed her down onto the ground twice, causing injury to her, while at the SMIC, Inc. office address.
