When Clarksville police arrived at the Gracey Ave apartment of 22-year-old Tyrik Williams Taylor, he immediately told them to take him to jail because he had “put hands” on his girlfriend, Adrianna Drones, and he didn’t wish to explain the situation any further. The victim advised the two had been arguing for several hours, and she had told Taylor she was taking the children and leaving the residence. As she packed her clothes, she says Taylor pushed her against the bedroom wall, strangling her. The situation continued into the living room, where Taylor reportedly picked up a scooter helmet and struck her with it, knocking her to the floor.
Matthew Grigsby says the mother of his child, 39-year-old Diliana Harvey, attempted to punch him in the face, and did bite his back, on May 3rd during an argument on Whitehall Drive. When police interviewed Harvey, she admitted to jumping on the victim’s back and biting him.
25-year-old Marcus Steele is charged with assaulting his mother after she refused to let him leave with his son, since he does not have any custody rights to him. The incident happened on April 3rd when Steele visited his mother’s home and attempted to leave with his son. As he wasn’t permitted to do so due to current custody issues, his mother stopped him. During the struggle, he reportedly pulled his mother’s hair and slammed her against the home, and the two physically fought. Police documented a “visible section of skin missing” from his mother’s elbow. Steele had fled the scene before officers arrived, and was booked on the open warrant this week.
