Christopher Townsend caught with gun in APSU dorm

21-year-old Christopher Townsend was caught by his resident assistant keeping a gun in his dorm room. The resident assistant was conducting a health and wellness check while Townsend was not in the room and found empty alcohol containers, which gave them the ability to do an in-depth search of his room. During the investigation, a G30 Glock handgun with three empty 10-round magazines and a 25-round magazine containing five 9mm rounds were found in a backpack inside the closet. Townsend does have a handgun permit but was not permitted by APSU to carry it on campus. Townsend was taken into custody and charged with having a weapon on school property.

Raheem Prince drags girlfriend out of house during dispute

30-year-old Raheem Jevoun Prince was jailed on November 16th after assaulting his girlfriend on Drayton Drive. When police arrived, Prince explained that his girlfriend had come home and broke plates in the kitchen, so he pulled her out of the house. The victim stated that Prince pulled her out of the house by grabbing ahold of her neck and face. Officers observed injuries to her lip and behind her ear. Prince was determined to be the primary aggressor as he knowingly hurt the victim and was taken into custody.

John Smith gets into fight on street, lies to police about it

44-year-old John Smith was jailed on November 4th after lying to the police, claiming that he was the victim of an attempted carjacking near the corner of Man O War Blvd and Tiny Town. He stated that while stopped at an intersection, unknown individuals assaulted him and tried to pull him out of his vehicle. Officers reviewed video footage from a nearby witness that showed Smith in a fighting stance before a fight broke out between Smith and two individuals. The individuals left the area on foot, and Smith reentered his vehicle. Officers believed that Smith offered information that he knew to be false during the initial interview.

Trevor Raines dumps large amount of trash on private property

25-year-old Trevor Raines was with Nellie Greenhill on March 29th when they dumped a large amount of trash out at the end of Paradise Hill Rd. The garbage, which included furniture, a dishwasher, and miscellaneous debris, was left at the edge of the road, and they never returned to pick it up. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency issued Raines a citation on April 20th. Raines failed to appear in court and was taken into custody for aggravated littering on November 15th.

DUI: Alesha Fahnestock has 8 shots before driving

32-year-old Alesha Fahnestock was jailed on November 13th after police pulled her over on I-24 for throwing a lit cigarette out the driver’s side window. While Fahnestock apologized for tossing the cigarette, the officer could smell alcohol coming from her breath and noticed she was slurring her words. Initially, Fahnestock denied having anything to drink but later admitted to having eight shots of alcohol approximately three hours before driving. She performed poorly on sobriety tests and was taken into custody. A check through NCIC revealed she had two prior DUIs.

Aminah Perkins punches ex-boyfriend multiple times during child exchange

21-year-old Aminah Perkins was booked on November 13th for assaulting her ex-boyfriend on Lynwood Circle. Police responded and spoke with Ms. Perkins, who stated that she and Devin Bartlett began arguing while she was picking up their children from his home. She stated that the argument escalated when he shoved her against the porch while strangling her to the point she couldn’t breathe and then dragged her through the yard. Officers spoke with Brenda Neal and James Neal, who were at the residence during the incident. They both said that Perkins began arguing with Bartlett during the child exchange and that she punched him multiple times until he pushed her away. The only injury observed was a small cut on the inside of Perkins’ lip. Due to the lack of evidence and multiple witnesses corroborating Bartlett’s story, Perkins was deemed the primary aggressor and transported to booking. Later, an active COR was discovered on file for Perkins, with Bartlett listed as the protected party.

Chase Harrison punches girlfriend multiple times during dispute

22-year-old Chase Harrison was booked on an outstanding warrant from October 23rd when he assaulted his girlfriend. Earlier that day, police were called to Walnut Street due to a verbal dispute between Harrison and Jayla Wright. Once the officers left the scene, Jayla tried to get her phone back from Harrison but was pushed down several times by him while she was holding their child. According to Jayla, while she was on the ground, Harrison punched her in the chest and side numerous times. Jayla then took the child and drove away in her car. She then met with police on Baltimore Road to report the second incident.

DUI: Brandon Shaw has “4 drinks containing Vodka” before driving

44-year-old Brandon Shaw was booked on November 14th when officers observed him speeding down Dover Road. He was clocked going 55 mph in a 45 mph zone and was pulled over at the Exxon gas station. While speaking with Mr. Shaw, officers noticed the odor of alcohol coming from his vehicle and asked him to step out. He exited his vehicle and used the patrol vehicle to hold himself up while he admitted to the police that he had four drinks containing vodka. Additionally, there was a spilled bottle of alcohol observed in plain sight on the passenger’s floorboard. He was then asked to consent to sobriety tests, which he performed poorly, and was taken into custody.

24-year-old Ramon Casas was arguing with his boyfriend, Chris Wofford, on November 14 when the argument became physical. Wofford told law enforcement that Casas had scratched him on both of his hands. Law enforcement determined that Casas was the primary aggressor of the scuffle. Casas was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Ms. Thompson was walking home when Brooks approached her and pulled her hair, causing her to fall. When she fell, Venerable got on top of her and began punching her in the face, which caused bruises on her eye and abrasions on her upper lip. Brooks was taken into custody and charged with assault.

Baha Abuhadba steals tools worth over $2,500 from Lowe’s

34-year-old Baha Abuhadba was at Lowe’s on Lowes Drive. Abuhadba’s accomplice, Bubacarr Camara, entered the Lowe’s, placed 10 DeWalt impact drills into a car, and swiftly exited. Camara and Abuhadba were seen entering and leaving the store together, fleeing in a grey four-door vehicle, most assumed to be a Honda. The items stolen were valued at $2800. Abuhadba was taken into custody and charged with theft.

25-year-old Annalisa Revilla was arguing with her girlfriend, Fu’Quisia Babers, on November 13th when Revilla became aggressive. Babers attempted to exit the room, but Revilla grabbed her and held her down. Revilla wrapped her arms around her from behind and wrapped her legs around her to prevent her from leaving the bed. As Babers struggled to escape, Revilla’s arms began to wrap around her neck, causing her to lose the ability to breathe. Babers began to beg for her to let go, but Revilla did not let go until she heard officers knocking on the door. Revilla was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.

Sebastian Shaw indicted after destroying computer files of former employer

30-year-old Sebastian Shaw, a former employee of Appleton Harley Davidson, has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury after reportedly deleting company files and withholding social media logins after he was terminated in July. Shaw was hired to do marketing for the business and was terminated in late July. Court records allege that in apparent retaliation, he destroyed and damaged their internal computer system, customer files, and company emails, causing over $10,000 in losses to the company. The Grand Jury met on November 7, and Shaw was taken into custody on two felony counts of computer fraud and vandalism the following week.

30-year-old Illiana Jackson was caught stealing at CitiTrend on November 13. The manager observed Jackson stealing merchandise and money from the cash registers via false returns. This occurred for two months, and the things she stole were valued at around $720. Hugh Thames lies to police about girlfriend overdosing on crack

44-year-old Hugh Thames Jr was at Marathon Gas station on November 5th when he was giving CPR to a female who was overdosing. Officers arrived and asked Thames if he knew the female, and he told them he didn’t. He said to them that he noticed her collapse on the street and drove her to the gas station to get help. Officers picked up Thames’s personal information while he led them to the initial place where he found her. Thames’s information didn’t come up, so they asked again for his social security number, and he gave them a different number. It was discovered that Thames had multiple non-extraditable warrants in other states. This led to officers asking for consent to search his room, which he granted. While at the hotel, Thames told officers that he had crack cocaine in the room as well as where to find it. Officers also found devices that Thames claimed were used to “push crack.” Thames also told them that the female that he was giving CPR to was his girlfriend, who was overdosing on the crack they were smoking. She fell over and hit her head, so he grabbed her and rushed to the hospital but had to make a stop at the gas station when she became unresponsive. Thames was taken into custody and charged with false report, simple possession/casual exchange, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and criminal impersonation.

Levita Bates hits car, tells driver that it “wasn’t a big deal”

26-year-old Levita Eliza Bates was driving her White Hyundai on October 1st when she backed into a car and drove away. The owner of the vehicle she hit was able to contact her, but she told him that it “wasn’t a big deal” and left without leaving any information. The owner of the car was able to take a picture of Bates’s license plate and provide it to law enforcement. Law enforcement discovered the White Hyundai was registered to Bates. The car’s owner and the passenger could identify Bates after being shown a photograph of her. Bates was taken into custody and charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Jacqueline Ogren punches husband for watching sex scene in movie

59-year-old Jacqueline Ogren was watching a movie with her husband on November 8th. When an implicit scene was shown, her husband showed interest in the scene. Ogren became enraged at her husband’s interest in the scene, so she began to punch her husband in the back of the head as well as his back. The following day, Ogren had a verbal altercation with her son, telling officers that he didn’t want to go to work or go to school. During the argument, which became heated at that point, Ogren threw a stitching canvas at him, hitting him and the plate of food he was eating. Ogren was taken into custody and charged with two counts of domestic violence.
