Soldier Jacob Liekhus charged with DUI after leaving Electric Cowboy club

21-year-old Jacob ‘Jake’ Liekhus was jailed on August 12th after police observed a black Ford F-150 swerving in and out of lanes on Fort Campbell Boulevard. They initiated a traffic stop and immediately noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from Liekhus. Officers observed him to have slurred speech as he explained that he had been drinking at the troubled Electric Cowboy club. When police asked Liekhus to step out of the vehicle, he replied, “I’m going to let you know I’m pretty intoxicated.” Officers asked him how drunk he was, and he responded, “7 out of 10.” Liekhus consented to sobriety testing, performed poorly, and was taken into custody. He blew a 0.158% BAC on a breathalyzer. Liekhus lists his place of employment as B Company, 3-187 Infantry, Iron Rakkasans.

DUI: Garret Knight crashes in parking lot of Electric Cowboy bar

22-year-old Garret Knight was booked on August 12th after police responded to a crash at the troubled Electric Cowboy bar. Police could smell alcohol coming from him, and Knight told them he had 2-3 beers and was just trying to leave, but he turned the wheel too soon and hit the parked GMC pickup truck next to him. He performed poorly on sobriety tests and blew a 0.150% BAC on a breathalyzer.

31-year-old Steven Gonzales was jailed on August 7th after crashing on Dunbar Cave Road. Police responded to the crash and immediately noticed that Gonzales was intoxicated. The odor of alcohol was coming off his body, and he couldn’t stand on his feet. He admitted to having a few drinks before driving. He was transported to Tennova to be medically cleared before being taken to Montgomery County Jail.

33-year-old Lauren Pipkin was jailed on August 10th after police responded to a caller that observed a red Buick Enclave hit a fence, go the wrong way around a roundabout, drive through the grass, and park in a parking spot with the driver slumped over the wheel. When police arrived, Pipkin was still in the driver’s seat with the key inside the vehicle. She slurred her speech as she admitted to drinking alcohol and using prescription medication before driving. Police found an almost empty bottle of vodka in her passenger’s seat and asked her to consent to sobriety testing. She performed poorly and was transported to Sango ER for a blood draw.

33-year-old Jaydee Davis was jailed on August 6th after police responded to a potentially impaired driver at the Circle K on Dover Road. Police observed Davis in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with the engine running and immediately noticed her speech was slurred. When she exited the vehicle, they observed Davis unsteady on her feet and asked her to consent to sobriety testing, but she was unable to complete the tasks and was taken into custody.

26-year-old Kendra Dahlstorm was booked, once again, for a DUI. She was recently jailed for DUI and driving with a suspended license in April. On July 31st, police responded to a call of someone asleep in a parking lot. Police arrived to find Dahlstrom with several empty beer and liquor containers in her vehicle. She performed poorly on sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

47-year-old Manuel Toro-Irizarry was jailed on July 29th when police responded to a multiple-vehicle crash on Ashland City Road and observed him attempting to leave the scene of the accident. Police could smell alcohol coming from his body and noticed his slurred speech. Mr. Toro attempted to perform sobriety tests but was unable to follow directions and was taken into custody.

Jessica Pritchett jailed after dancing on her vehicle while blocking traffic

30-year-old Jessica Pritchett was jailed on July 30th after multiple reports of her blocking the road with her vehicle on Kraft Street. Callers reported Pritchett was walking in circles and dancing on her vehicle as it blocked traffic. When police made arrived on the scene, she was sitting in the driver’s seat with the vehicle running. She appeared disoriented and had trouble following simple commands. She had extremely small pupils that had no reaction to light. During the investigation, Ms. Pritchett continued to make erratic movements and say things that didn’t make sense. Police had probable cause to believe she was under the influence of an opiate.

29-year-old William Shurden was booked last week after police responded to a call about a drunk driver at McDonald’s on Wilma Rudolph. When police arrived, the complainant told police that Mr. Shurden was acting belligerent at the drive-thru window and smelled of alcohol. Police observed empty beer bottles in the center console and passenger’s seat of his vehicle. He was unsteady on his feet upon exiting the vehicle and had glossy eyes. Mr. Shurden consented to sobriety tests but performed poorly and was transported to Tennova Hospital for a blood sample.

Military contractor Chelsea Obrien charged with DUI & possessing handgun while intoxicated

33-year-old military contractor Chelsea Obrien was booked on July 23rd when a Tennessee State Trooper observed a Blue Dodge speeding down Fort Campbell Boulevard, going 53 mph in a 45 mph zone, failing to stay in their lane of travel. When the trooper made contact with Ms. Obrien, he noticed her watery eyes and the odor of alcohol emitting from her body. She slurred as she told the trooper that she had one glass of wine. Ms. Obrien agreed to conduct sobriety tests but performed poorly and was asked to provide a breath sample that came back .116% BAC on the breathalyzer. A Smith and Wesson gun was later discovered in the center console.

DUI: Nathan Ip blows 0.246% BAC after drinking Sky Vodka & driving

32-year-old Nathan Ip was jailed on July 23rd after multiple reports of a Silver Dodge Challenger bearing Indiana tags driving erratically, swerving, and weaving all over the road on I-24 from miles 31 through 13. Police found and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and were immediately able to tell that Mr. IP was extremely intoxicated. He performed poorly on all field sobriety tests and blew a 0.246% BAC on a breathalyzer.

23-year-old Darien Brooks was jailed on July 22nd when police observed him speeding down Tiny Town. Police radar confirmed he was going 61 mph in a 45 mph zone. He told the officer that he had “one four loco.” Police saw a white cup in the center console, which Mr. Books admitted to being alcohol. 43-year-old Sonya Little was jailed after police observed her BMW swerve out of the lane three times on Tiny Town Road. She told police she was coming from a friend’s house, where she had three mixed drinks about two and a half hours prior. She had bloodshot watery eyes and smelled of alcohol. She consented to field sobriety tests and performed poorly. An open can of Ultra beer was located in the driver’s side door pocket.

Tonya Reddick charged with third DUI after crash

42-year-old Tonya Reddick was booked on July 8th after police responded to a vehicle that peeled off into the mud on the side of the road and wrecked. The officers immediately smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from her, and she admitted to having a couple of drinks four to five hours prior. Ms. Reddick agreed to perform sobriety tests after several minutes of the officers trying to explain. Midway through, she said she was done and refused to continue. Officers located multiple bottles of alcohol in the center console and an empty cup. Two of the bottles were empty. This was Ms. Reddick’s third DUI offense.

21-year-old Samuell Hassell was jailed on July 16th after police were flagged down on Commerce Street by a complainant who said he was being followed by a Jeep Cherokee. When police asked Hassell why he was following the vehicle, he slowly responded that he thought it was his friend Ben. He added that he thought Ben was driving a red car and was following him home from the troubled Electric Cowboy, where he had a few beers. Hassell agreed to field sobriety tests and performed poorly. 24-year-old Austin Pristavec, a Fort Campbell Soldier, was jailed on July 16th after police observed him swerving and operating a cell phone on Fort Campbell Boulevard. When police pulled him over, they smelled alcohol coming from the vehicle, and Austin admitted to drinking earlier that evening. He agreed to sobriety testing and performed poorly. The search of his vehicle yielded a case of Busch Light on the floorboard along with a loaded Smith & Wesson Springfield 9mm. Austin blew a .093% BAC on a breathalyzer. He has no prior DUI history.

Daequan Walton blows over double legal limit on breathalyzer; speeding at 84 mph

21-year-old Daequan Walton was observed doing 84 MPH and weaving through traffic on Providence Blvd. on July 17th by MCSO Deputy Ryherd. Deputy Ryherd conducted a traffic stop and spoke to Daequan, who admitted to drinking a six-pack. Another officer took over and evaluated Daequan’s sobriety test; he performed poorly and agreed to take a breathalyzer test. His BAC was 0.194 at that time.
