Woman charged with knocking on door and punching woman who answered — Dimeneshia Carter

In January, Clarksville Police responded to an assault in progress on Victory Road. A woman told police that 22-year-old Dimeneshia Carter and Eirneschia Carter appears at her door knocking and demanding to be let in. As she opened the door to tell them to leave, Dimeneshia reportedly reached in and punched the victim in the face. The resident was able to shut the door before the assault continued further, and the two fled. Dimeneshia was booked into jail on the open warrant on Monday, charged with felony aggravated burglary. The argument was reportedly over clothing.

Man charged with baseball bat assault of stepfather fails to appear for court date — Jeffrey Mobley

24-year-old Jeffrey Mobley reportedly hit his stepfather, William Combs, with a baseball bat during an argument last week. A juvenile relative called 911 to report the two were fighting, and both admitted a verbal argument had turned physical after Jeffrey pushed William and the fight continued to the inside of the home, where Jeffrey grabbed and used a baseball bat. Mobley was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday but failed to appear for his court date.

Soldier charged with felony assault of roommate — Marquis Jackson arrested

25-year-old soldier Marquis Jackson is charged with the felony aggravated domestic assault of his roommate, Selwyn-Lee Thompson after police responded to the Waffle House on Ft. Campbell Blvd earlier this month. The roommate says they were both sitting in a vehicle and Jackson asked him to take him home, however, the roommate denied the immediate request. Jackson then reportedly wrapped his arm around the 20-year-old’s throat, assaulting him. Officers noted several injuries consistent with an assault. The roommate was also arrested for underage drinking.

Man charged in car break-in, he says it wasn’t him — Nacobie Vaughns arrested

23-year-old Nacobie O’Neal Vaughns now faces felony auto burglary and felony fraud charges after police say a victim reported her bank card was stolen from her vehicle on Raven Road earlier this month and shortly after, someone attempted to remove $3,820.00 from her bank card to their CashApp account. Subpoenas to CashApp revealed the account belonged to Nacobie Vaughns, and police swore out the warrants.

Vaughns posted on social media that he was arrested for something he didn’t do. Vaughns has no prior record and had a valid handgun carry permit – until a Judge ordered it to be surrendered as a result of this arrest. He is free on a $20,000 bond.

Youth football coach charged in assault of his pregnant daughter & juvenile son — Dontavious Smith

39-year-old Youth Football Coach Dontavious Lee Smith (AKA ‘Coach Tay’) is charged with two counts of domestic assault after his children attempted to intervene during and after an assault on his wife. Smith reportedly assaulted and strangled his 15-year-old son when the child attempted to break up a physical assault between Smith and his wife.

When his daughter, who is pregnant, learned of the assault she came to the residence to confront him and he reportedly hit her in the face, causing her to make the 911 call. Smith had fled the scene when police arrived. He was arrested days later and is now free on a $12,500 bond.

Man busts into home & beats down man on couch with ex-girlfriend — David Ashrif Samy

Dejah Blackwell and Tyler Tornay say they were sitting on the couch in a residence on Stone Mountain Road on New Year’s Eve when they heard a car horn and suddenly the front door of the home flew open. They say 24-year-old David Samy, who is Blackwell’s ex-boyfriend, appeared without notice or invitation and began to beat Tyler in the face with his fists. Samy pushed Blackwell down into a table and tossed her phone when she tried to stop the assault and attempted to call police.

A warrant was issued for Samy’s arrest, as he fled the scene, and he was booked on the outstanding warrants for felony burglary of a habitation, domestic assault, and interference with an emergency call this week. He posted an $8,000 cash bond and was released.

Woman charged with felony auto burglary after food fight — Lahajsia Unique Amos

20-year-old Lahajsia Unique Amos is free on a $5,000 bond after Clarksville Police say she got into a food fight with a female acquaintance of her child’s father, who was bringing a car seat to her house on Christmas Eve. She allegedly punched her in the head, pulled her hair, and assaulted her with a fountain drink and bag of food from Wendy’s, which she took from the victim’s car. The victim threw a yogurt cup back at Amos.

Since both parties were involved in the fight, and neither pressed charges, Officer JT Knoblock charged Lahajsia Amos with felony burglary of a motor vehicle, stating she took the bag of Wendy’s food used during the assault from the victim’s vehicle without permission.
