Soldier Kevin Lozano-Cruz faces 2nd DUI after speeding on Fort Campbell Blvd

THP Trooper Michael Hickmon observed a silver vehicle driven by 29-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Kevin Benjamin Lozano-Cruz traveling at 63 mph in a 40 mph zone on Fort Campbell Blvd on Saturday. As he conducted a traffic stop, the officer reported Lozano-Cruz had bloodshot, watery eyes, and reeked of alcohol. He admitted to consuming one shot of alcohol 25 minutes prior to the interaction and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was transported to the Sango ER for a blood test and then booked into jail for DUI 2nd, as he had a prior DUI conviction in 2017.

Fort Cambell soldier Colton May clocked at 92 mph on Fort Campbell Blvd

19-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Colton Everett May driving his Hyundai Genesis at 92 mph on Fort Campbell Blvd, where the speed limit is 45 mph. Clarksville Police Officer Darrius Robinson tracked the speed on a handheld radar and made the traffic stop. May stated he was aware of the 45 mph speed limit, but he was taking a friend to pick up a rental car. May was transported to jail and charged with reckless driving.

Fort Campbell Soldier Curtis Sumner charged with two counts of domestic assault against girlfriend

22-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Curtis Lee Sumner now faces two domestic assault charges after his girlfriend, Trinity Jay, says she felt assaulted when he pushed her with his hand on her chest while arguing about their relationship. Additionally, she says that at about 5 p.m. on that same day, he kicked her on the left side of her body during an argument.

Officers spoke with Sumner, who says he left to stay at the barracks before things escalated. Trinity Jay refused to provide a written statement, and officers did not observe any visible signs of injury. Sumner returned to the scene and provided a statement to officers, and was taken into custody on two counts of domestic assault.

Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Cook says he had ‘3 shots’ prior to 4 a.m. DUI arrest

Just after 4 a.m. Sunday, THP Trooper Michael Hickmon was traveling on Fort Campbell Blvd when he observed 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Tyler Cook driving a vehicle at 65 mph in a 45 mph zone while crossing over his lane of travel. During the subsequent traffic stop, Cook admitted to drinking “three shots” prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He later blew a 0.173% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Drunken Fort Campbell Soldier Ruth Valdez assaults police officer, slips cuffs

21-year-old Ruth Valdez was drinking with her friends all night at an apartment on Tiny Town Road when she decided she was going to drive home at 6:15 a.m. Sunday. Her friends called 911 when she attempted to leave in her vehicle while still extremely intoxicated. Officer arrived. As officers arrived and detained her, she hit Officer Malone and then began kicking the windows and partitions inside the patrol car. Due to her level of intoxication, she was transported to Sango ER where she managed to slip one of her handcuffs. There was a struggle in the hospital while attempting to get her hands cuffed behind her back for transport to jail, as she actively resisted all efforts.

Sydney Morris refuses to leave Clarksville Waffle House; makes cops forcibly remove her

On July 23rd at 3:03 a.m., the Waffle House at 1683 Fort Campbell Blvd was temporarily shut down by officials for being a fire hazard. 26-year-old Sydney Morris refused to leave the restaurant and insisted on arguing with police orders and their authority. As she was placed into custody for disorderly conduct, she refused to walk, forcing officers to drag her to the patrol vehicle. She then resisted being placed inside the patrol car and required multiple officers to place her inside.

Soldier charged after yanking steering wheel, causing wife to wreck vehicle — Travon Weaver

22-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Travon ‘Tray’ Weaver is jailed in lieu of a $16,000 bond after he was reportedly riding home from Fort Cambell Blvd with his wife, Haley Hall Weaver, driving and two children (one age 2 years, one age 7 months) inside the vehicle. The couple reportedly got into an argument, and Weaver yanked the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to swerve while they were near exit 11. Once they got into their neighborhood, he reportedly yanked the steering wheel again, causing the vehicle to spin out and roll into a neighbor’s yard. Haley says she was holding the infant after she exited the car, and Travon then pushed her to the ground.

Soldier Kameron Tillmon found drunk, shirtless, shoeless, sweatpants covered in cockleburs

Just before 3 a.m. Friday, Clarksville Police found 22-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Kameron Tillmon “shirtless, shoeless, and with cockleburs stuck to his sweatpants” as he banged on the door of an apartment as he attempted to open it on Oak Arbor Court. Police say he reeked of alcohol and had been in front of other nearby apartments, too. He was unable to tell officers where he was coming from, going to, or why he was there. Due to his level of intoxication, he was transported to booking.

19-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Christian Davis is now charged with felony aggravated domestic assault after his wife, Nisha Davis, advised he slapped her in the face and then strangled her on July 11th during an argument. She states she began to black out as he continued to strangle her, and officers documented visible injuries on her neck consistent with strangulation.

Natalie Cheek says her husband, 20-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Bradley Cheek, asked her for her phone, and when she refused he retrieved it from her waistband by force while she ‘flailed’ her arms and hit him in self-defense. As she ran outside and got into her car, Bradley jumped into the passenger seat, and as she reversed he smashed the phone onto the ground and exited the vehicle. Bradley, who had marks on his body from her ‘flailing’ when he took her phone, spoke to the police and provided a very similar story. He was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Soldier Timothy Lee locks wife in vehicle: “I’m not going to let you leave me!”

Shelby Lee says her husband, 28-year-old Soldier Timothy Lee, held her against her will inside their vehicle in the parking lot of Golly G’s on Madison Street in Clarksville. She says Timothy was given a pass from Fort Campbell for Father’s Day weekend, and the couple and their four children all celebrated by going to Golly G’s.

While in the parking lot she says he locked the door of the vehicle and refused to unlock or open the doors when asked. With her locked inside, he reportedly stated “I’m not going to let you leave me” and she was eventually able to escape the vehicle as it was in motion as he began to drive off.

Soldier Alexander Fair jailed after THP Trooper clocks him speeding 41 mph over limit

29-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alexander Fair was unknowingly traveling in front of a THP Trooper’s vehicle when he accelerated to 76 mph in a 45 mph zone, and then accelerated to 86 mph a short time later. THP Trooper Cadena initiated a traffic stop in front of Gate 1 and placed Fair under arrest for reckless driving. He arranged for a friend to pick up the Mustang and he was transported to booking.

Soldier Carl Disney blows double legal limit on breathalyzer on a Sunday at noon

41-year-old Fort Campbell E-7 Soldier Carl Shawn Disney was stopped for his erratic driving just after lunch on Sunday. An officer made contact with Mr. Disney, who claimed he had “four drinks, four hours ago.” After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, it was determined Disney was driving while intoxicated. A search of his vehicle revealed a handgun in his possession while intoxicated, and he would later blow a 0.171% BAC on a breathalyzer — more than double the legal limit.

Drunk Soldier John Shields jumps over Strawberry Alley bar & makes his own drink

Clarksville Police say 32-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier John H. Shields jumped over the bar at Strawberry Alley Ale Works in #DowntownClarksville, poured himself a drink, drank it, and left the business. As Officer Renken arrived at the restaurant, he unknowingly observed Shields in his vehicle but didn’t yet know he was the person in question. When Shields saw the officer arrive, he turned off the ignition and walked away on foot.

Shields was walking around the building when management pointed him out to the officer, who attempted to get him an Uber back home. Shields could barely walk or stand, and eventually it was determined he was even too drunk for a rideshare and he was placed into custody for public intoxication.

Soldier Cooper Sheffer discharges gun in apartment, misses neighbor’s head by inches

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Cooper Sheffer was booked into the Montgomery County Jail this week after his firearm was discharged from inside his apartment, causing a bullet to pass through the wall of his apartment and into his neighbor’s residence, which was occupied. A female victim in the neighboring apartment was in the living room at the time of the gunshot, which came through the wall approximately 8-10 inches from where she was sitting. Sheffer says he “accidentally bumped the trigger” while cleaning the firearm.

Trevor Bryant charged after kicking bar’s door & attempting to fight patrons on Dover Rd

31-year-old Fort Campbell Solider Trevor Bryant was heavily intoxicated and arguing with patrons at a bar at 244 Dover Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. Multiple witnesses inside the bar stated he was attempting to start fights, and Ms. Pomeroy stated he had kicked the front glass door, cracking it. When officers arrived at 1:34 a.m. they attempt to find a friend to pick up Bryant or a rideshare to take him home, however, he refused any alternate way home.

Autumn Ordonez assaults husband after she’s bounced from Mike’s Bar & Grill

22-year-old Autumn Young Ordonez is charged with domestic assault after she hit her husband, Matthew Ordonez, in the face after he was attempting to get her to vacate the bar she had been kicked out of. Officer Godwin responded to Mike’s Bar & Grill on a report that Young had assaulted a bouncer who was refusing to leave the property. Autumn was in the parking lot with her husband when police arrived, and multiple witnesses had observed her strike her husband as he was attempting to get her to leave the bar. Matthew also confirmed she slapped him. Young has two prior domestic violence charges, according to police.

Fort Campbell Soldier Kayla Darroux charged with assaulting ex-husband, stabbing his tire

Clarksville Police say 23-year-old Kayla Darroux of the 426th Brigade Support Battalion “Taskmasters” at Fort Campbell assaulted her ex-husband and stabbed one of his tires with a knife, causing it to go flat. The incident happened on May 23rd when police responded to a Northridge Drive apartment where the victim, Blake, explained she had grabbed his shirt to prevent him from walking away during an argument, leaving him with scratch marks on his neck. She then reportedly went outside and stabbed his tire with a knife on the passenger side of his vehicle. She has a prior history of domestic incidents, according to police. A commissioner set her bond at $250.

A Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted 24-year-old Caleb Rustchak on two counts related to the sexual exploitation of children. Count one, aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, alleges Rustchak distributed and exchanged images of children involved in sexual activity. County two, sexual exploitation of a minor (over fifty images), alleges Rustchak knowingly possessed over fifty such images of minors engaged in sexual acts. The activity occurred between October 2020 and October 2021.

Danique Wash charged with assaulting her army spouse with a clothes hanger

29-year-old Danique Wash is charged with the domestic assault of her spouse, Ashley Nicole Wash, after police say the couple was having an argument in the bedroom when Danique grabbed a clothes hanger and hit Ashley in the face with it. She then reportedly broke a television as the exited the room. The pair fought over a television remote and a necklace the victim was wearing, leaving visible injuries on the victim. The two self-separated and waited for the police to arrive.
