Clarksville Police say 36-year-old Trista Gatson was in an argument with her daughter, Taliah, when she took out a pair of pink brass knuckles, placed them on her hand, and began to swing at her daughter. The attempts never made contact with the victim, but the daughter says she was in immediate fear, and pepper-strayed her mother in self-defense. When officers arrived, Trista stated she didn’t even own any brass knuckles, however, a quick search located them in her bag.
Jasmine Bronaugh says she returned home from Fort Bragg to find her husband, 25-year-old Sean Bronaugh, had a party at their home. She told responding officers that she took his phone and discovered he was cheating on her. Sean says Jasmine woke him up by hitting him in the face before she went upstairs and locked herself in the bathroom with the phone. She says Sean broke through the bathroom door and began to punch her in the face with his fists, then slammed her head into the wall several times. She was able to get outside to call 911, however, both parties would end up behind bars.
Sean Bronaugh says he was awoken from his sleep around 7 a.m. on March 27th, as his wife, 31-year-old Jasmine Bronaugh, returned home from Fort Bragg and began to hit him in the face, upset that she believed he was cheating and had thrown a party in her absence. She ran upstairs with his phone and locked herself in a bathroom. Sean broke through the door in an effort to retrieve his phone, and the couple began “wrestling around with each other” according to an arrest warrant. Both parties would be jailed for domestic assault.
