18-year-old Corey Johnson was jailed on April 2nd after trespassing at a construction site on Center Road. Police responded to a call stating that two people were on the roof of the apartments being built. Johnson was initially issued a trespassing warning for the property; however, after the property manager walked through the building, he found damage to the drywall that wasn’t there before. When police tried to take Johnson into custody, he resisted arrest by locking his arms so he couldn’t be handcuffed. He also kicked the patrol car while he was being placed in the back seat. The property manager estimated the cost of the drywall to be $16.
