Serial Gooner Paul Maldonado-Crespo jailed after exposing himself to multiple women

30-year-old Paul Maldonado-Crespo was reported for indecent exposure several times from August 6th to August 9th. In the first incident on August 6th, one of the victims reported that she was being followed in the Planet Fitness by a blue Honda Civic. The victim stated that the man following her parked his car beside her, so she stopped to look. When she looked, she saw that the man’s genitals were exposed and that he was masturbating while looking at her.

In another case, on August 8th, near South 2nd Street and Madison Street, another victim reported that she was also being followed by a man driving a blue Honda Civic. She stated that when the man approached her, she observed that his driver’s seat was laid back. She also noticed that his genitals were exposed and that he was masturbating while looking directly at her.

The last incident occurred on August 9th in the Kroger parking lot on Madison Street. The victim reported a similar story as the other victims in the previous incidents. However, when she approached the man, he drove off. Throughout the investigation of the incident, Maldonado-Crespo was identified as a possible suspect due to the descriptions given by the victims. Following this, during an unrelated traffic stop, Maldonado-Crespo agreed to speak with law enforcement regarding the case. During an interview where Maldonado-Crespo waived his Miranda Rights, he admitted that he followed and masturbated to the victims of each case. Maldonado-Crespo stated that he did so because he was “horny” and that he “enjoyed the thrill.” After providing a written apology to the victims, Maldonado-Crespo was taken into custody and charged with altering/falsifying/forging auto titles, four counts of indecent exposure, and two counts of summons on August 30th.

DUI: Austen Mohon backs into AC unit after drinking at Revel House Pub

18-year-old Austen Jace Mohon backed into an AC unit with his white Chevrolet Tahoe while leaving the Revel House Pub on August 22nd. Officers noticed this and conducted a traffic stop, during which they observed Mohon reeked of alcohol and showing signs of impairment. During their interaction, Mohon swayed while trying to stand still. Then, he consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. After being informed of implied consent, Mohon agreed to provide a blood sample. Mohon was then taken into custody for underage alcohol consumption and driving under the influence.

Christopher Dodson forcefully enters neighbor’s home & holds him down

23-year-old Christopher James Dodson forcefully entered his neighbor’s Cumberland Heights Road residence on the afternoon of August 2nd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Jefferey Foret. He stated that Dodson came to his home and knocked the screen off his front door. Foret said that when Dodson came inside, Dodson held him down on the floor and would not let him up. Foret added that during the struggle, his laptop had broken. When the police spoke with Dodson, he admitted to crossing the fence, entering Foret’s house, and holding him down on the ground. Dodson was then taken into custody for aggravated burglary and vandalism.

On March 8th, 25-year-old Justin Harrison was seen exposing himself at Michaels on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. DUI: Soldier Matthew Haworth drinks “5 beers” at Tipper’s bar before speeding

29-year-old Soldier Matthew Haworth was seen speeding toward Dover Road on December 18th. Haworth was doing 70MPH in a 55MPH zone, which led officers to conduct a traffic stop. Upon contact with Haworth, officers observed that Haworth was inebriated. He admitted to coming from Tipper’s Bar and drinking “5 beers” when asked. Haworth was then asked to perform sobriety tests and performed poorly. Matthew Haworth was taken into custody and charged with speeding and driving under the influence.

Corey Johnson jailed over $16 drywall damage

18-year-old Corey Johnson was jailed on April 2nd after trespassing at a construction site on Center Road. Police responded to a call stating that two people were on the roof of the apartments being built. Johnson was initially issued a trespassing warning for the property; however, after the property manager walked through the building, he found damage to the drywall that wasn’t there before. When police tried to take Johnson into custody, he resisted arrest by locking his arms so he couldn’t be handcuffed. He also kicked the patrol car while he was being placed in the back seat. The property manager estimated the cost of the drywall to be $16.
