Police say 27-year-old Siaona Banks was searching for her keys on February 7 just before noon. She picked up the jacket of her boyfriend, Joseph Stevenson, and began to go through the pockets when he told her the keys were in his pants pocket. She then reached into his pocket and instead took his wallet, causing a physical fight. She caused abrasions on his legs and then bit him on his shoulder, leaving a “severe bite mark,” according to officers.

Lila Morgan pushes ex-boyfriend, charged with domestic assault

Joshua Johnson told police his ex-girlfriend (and mother of his child), 34-year-old Lila Morgan, came to his apartment on February 6 and began an argument. As the argument escalated, it became physical, and she reportedly moved toward Joshua in a threatening manner and pushed him. He told police he grabbed her and held her to get her under control. Once she calmed down, she left the apartment. She was located and charged with domestic assault.

Linette Castellanos told police she was amid a breakup with her boyfriend, 30-year-old Joel Tobias, this week. He returned home after a night of drinking Friday night and was upset. When she refused to discuss the top with him, he became agitated, and she locked herself in a bathroom. He eventually convinced her he was calm, and she opened the door. Tobias then pushed his way in and began to punch her and strangle her, according to police. Officers arrived at 5:52 a.m. and transported Tobias to jail, charged with aggravated domestic assault.

Jacob Goodheart flips truck on Rossview Road, charged with DUI

23-year-old Jacob Goodheart reportedly flipped his Nissan Titan truck during a crash on Rossview Road on Saturday. He was standing outside of the vehicle when police arrived and reeked of alcohol. A witness at the scene stated the Titan truck was weaving and swerving before it flipped. Goodheard says he was driving home from Nashville and had consumed alcohol prior to driving. Goodheart refused to participate in field sobriety tests, stating it was too cold. He was transported to booking and charged with DUI.

21-year-old Kevonni Young was driving a Chevrolet Silverado near Outlaw Field Road / Airport Road late Saturday evening when Clarksville Police Officer Marcus Lax says he observed the vehicle weaving between lanes of travel. He initiated a traffic stop and noted Kevonni Young appeared intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, and charged with DUI.

36-year-old self-proclaimed YouTuber & Racer Thomas West recently went to social media to claim he was arrested for “doing burnouts on private property” and encouraged folks to protest against Cody Evans, the Deputy who arrested him. As Maury would say, the results are in, and that was a lie. Multiple citizens called 911 on February 4th to report a white vehicle with police lights on top was speeding up behind vehicles on Wilma Rudolph and using his light bar and siren in attempts to pull them over. The following day, deputies identified and located the vehicle, which belonged to West. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal impersonation and illegal use of blue flashing lights. West admitted to doing burn-outs the night before but was not charged in any way for them, despite his claims otherwise.

41 -year-old Jason Howell was found drunken and covered in mud while sitting on the side of the road at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Whitefield Road just before 4 p.m. Saturday. Officers say he apparently had fallen in the mud of a construction area and admitted to consuming alcohol. Hew was unable to walk without stumbling and falling, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

52-year-old APSU Chemistry Lab Manager Ronald Palmer was jailed Friday after a student said she walked in on him masturbating in his office with the door open to the hallway. Police made contact with Palmer, who refused to answer any questions. The student alerted another Chemistry to the incident, and she called campus police. Clarksville Police jailed 68-year-old Celeste Brodeur and her 68-year-old husband, Albert Brodeur, after their grandaughter, MaKenzie Brodeur, called 911 to report being assaulted during an argument over the cleanliness of the house. Officers arrived at the residence on January 29 to find MaKenzie bleeding from her mouth. She says her grandmother was arguing with her about the house not being kept clean and began to insult her. Celeste admits to smacking her in the mouth because her granddaughter was backtalking her. When MaKenzie pushed her grandmother after being smacked, her grandfather stepped in and also struck McKenzie.

Marci Hoogerwerf flees from Clarksville Police, says she “didn’t feel safe”

Clarksville Police say 39-year-old Marci Hoogerwerf refused to stop for police when they attempted to stop her to investigate a hit-and-run that had just occurred in the parking lot of Drake’s on South Hampton Place on January 27. She was driving a black Lexus, which matched the description from the incident. As an officer also noticed she was driving on tags that expired in March of 2022 he activated his emergency equipment neart Trenton Road and Caney Lane. She refused to stop and continued to drive to her home on Sierra Court. As she exited the vehicle in her driveway she was taken into custody. Hoogerwerf stated she “didn’t feel safe,” and wanted to get home to her children. She was charged with felony evading arrest and driving an unlicensed vehicle.
