18-year-old Zachary Standford was caught stealing at Dillard’s in Governor’s Square Mall on March 25th. Standford had concealed merchandise on his person and passed all points of sale. Officers were called and came into contact with Standford. Standford stated that his name was James Smith and provided his birthday. Standford informed officers that he had no form of ID to prove his identity. When officers searched Standford, they found a debit card and a Tennessee ID with his actual name. Standford was also found with a tobacco vape on his person. The merchandise was valued at $294. Zachary Standford was taken into custody and charged with criminal impersonation, theft, and possession of tobacco as a minor.
Zachary Allen Standford of Starlight Lane in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 25th, charged with criminal impersonation, theft, and minor tobacco purchase. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $5,000.
