21-year-old Soldier Reece Wawrzyniak was found in a black two-door Honda Civic at the I-24 ramp to Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on March 16th. Officers arrived and observed four occupants in the vehicle. All of them were unconscious and not unresponsive to officers attempting to wake them up. The driver-side window had to be broken to remove Wawrzyniak from the vehicle. Wawrzyniak had the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person and displayed multiple other signs of intoxication. Wawrzyniak consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Reece Wawrzyniak was then taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

48-year-old Urick Miller was involved in a family scuffle at Raintree Drive on March 16th. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and made contact with Haneen Elshishtway, Urick’s daughter-in-law. Once Poquette was informed about implied consent, she agreed to the breathalyzer. 22-year-old Soldier Keyshon Dill was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Ashleigh Adams, at their Northpark Commons apartment on March 17th. Dill alleges that while he was walking up the stairs to put items in his bedroom, Adams came down the stairs and attacked him. DUI: Donta Daniel loses control of motorcycle after having “a shot” before driving

29-year-old Donta Daniel was seen on a Harley Davidson FLT at 101st Division Parkway on March 17th. The Harley Davidson was found crashed between Trenton Road and the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard overpass. Daniel was found seated on a roadway nearby. Officers made contact with Daniel and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached him. Daniel stated that a vehicle ran or almost ran into him, causing him to crash. However, three witnesses informed the officer that they saw Daniel lose control of his motorcycle just before the crash. None of the witnesses corroborated the events that Daniel said happened. Shortly after, Daniel was asked to perform a sobriety test and agreed. After performing poorly, Daniel stated that he had not had anything to eat and had a “shot.” Daniel was then taken into custody. During a search of Daniel, three Bud Light Platinum bottle caps were found along with one “twist off” Coors Light bottle cap in his motorcycle vest. Officer Goodall found three Bud Light Platinum beers among the motorcycle wreckage and observed that they “were still cold to the touch.” Donta Daniel was transported to Booking, where he was charged with driving under the influence.

Riojas had no other means of transportation, so he was deemed a danger to himself and the people around him. Officers transported Kenneth Riojas to booking and charged him with public intoxication.

20-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Dylan Trowbridge was found asleep in the back of a vehicle at the Interstate 24 ramp to Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on March 16th. When officers arrived, they came to see four individuals, including Trowbridge. A firearm was found in the backseat of the car on the lap of Levi Krshul, another occupant who was passed out in the backseat.

After Trowbridge was read his Miranda Rights, he claimed the firearm was his. Once Trowbridge exited the vehicle, officers noticed clear signs of intoxication. Trowbridge was deemed a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody and charged with possession of a handgun while under the influence and public intoxication.

29-year-old Mario Ramero was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Kelly Ramero, at their Oak Street residence on March 14th. Taejion Putney crashes on Fort Campbell Boulevard, leaves man injured

23-year-old Taejion Putney was involved in a car crash at The Residences at 1671 Campbell on March 14th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, they observed a white Kia Optima with severe damage. An empty Mike’s Hard Lemonade was seen in the back of the car. Megan Harris, a witness of the crash, said she had seen the Kia speeding sideways and then crash into a tree. Officers then made contact with a passenger of the vehicle, Deshawn Fisher, who was still on the scene. When Fisher was asked who the driver was, he only stated, “I know the owner.”

Officers later made contact with Putney via cell phone where he stated that he let a friend borrow the vehicle at the time of the crash but couldn’t provide a name. While on the phone, he agreed to meet at Piggly Wiggly. Once Putney was in person with an officer, he admitted to showing off for his friends, losing control of the car, and then crashing into a tree. He added that he was aware of Mr. Fisher’s injuries but didn’t stop because he was scared. Taejion Putney was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene with an injury and an open container.

27-year-old Reece Gorton was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Jaden Athearn, at West Fork Crossings on March 16th. When officers arrived at the mentioned location, they made contact with Brandon Barron, who stated that he was having a small get-together with his friends at his apartment. He then advised that Gorton made his way to the party and said he knew Anthearn was there and was cheating on him, so he kicked Barron’s door down and went inside. 22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Dale Paulson was seen in a maroon Chevy Silverado failing to stop at a DUI checkpoint at Kraft Street on March 15th. A traffic stop was made at the intersection of Kraft Street and Frosty Morn Drive, and law enforcement made contact with Paulson, who stated that the reason he didn’t stop was because he didn’t feel like it. Shortly after, Paulson told the officer that he had three beers at Tippers Bar but told the deputy that he had four. Paulson consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. On the way to jail, Paulson stated that he had six beers and had “gotten onto post like this before.” Dale Paulson was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, open container law, and failure to obey the lawful order of an officer.
