Soldier Dylan Trowbridge found passed out in backseat of car on I-24

20-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Dylan Trowbridge was found asleep in the back of a vehicle at the Interstate 24 ramp to Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on March 16th. When officers arrived, they came to see four individuals, including Trowbridge. A firearm was found in the backseat of the car on the lap of Levi Krshul, another occupant who was passed out in the backseat.

After Trowbridge was read his Miranda Rights, he claimed the firearm was his. Once Trowbridge exited the vehicle, officers noticed clear signs of intoxication. Trowbridge was deemed a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody and charged with possession of a handgun while under the influence and public intoxication.

DUI: Soldier Devin Rivera has one margarita before swerving between lanes on Fort Campbell Boulevard

22-year-old Soldier Devin Rivera was seen swerving between lanes and nearly crashing into another vehicle at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Lafayette Road on March 9th. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Rivera, who was displaying visible signs of intoxication. Upon further inspection of River’s car, three unopened bottles of Corona were seen on the passenger side floorboard. When Rivera was asked if he had consumed any alcohol, he admitted that he had one margarita. Officers then conducted a probable cause search of his vehicle, which yielded an empty Cayman Jack Margarita can. Devin Rivera was then taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence with no registration, no license, and no insurance.

Andrew Renteria threatens officers and medical staff at Tennova

21-year-old Andrew Renteria was transported to Tennova Main on February 17th after his friends informed law enforcement that he was either going to hurt them or himself. While at the hospital, Renteria was verbally aggressive and threatening to officers and hospital staff. He was then sat in a chair and told not to move, but he continued to stand regardless and even tried to wander around the hospital. When Renteria was told to sit back down, he refused, so an officer grabbed him by his arm to lead him back to the lobby area of the hospital. Renteria retaliated by pulling away from the officer, pushing him, and using his body weight. Hospital security aided in restraining Renteria. Andrew Renteria was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest.

39th BEB Soldier Johnathan Young II charged with DUI after running a stop sign

21-year-old 39th BEB Bull-Strike Soldier Johnathan Michael Young II failed to stop at a stop sign late in the evening on April 4 and caught the eye of a deputy in the area. A traffic stop was conducted on the red Chevy Cruze on Garrettsburg near Hwy 374. Young reportedly reeked of alcohol and admitted to consuming “three beers” prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
