Angelina Salyers told police that her 31-year-old husband, Randell Salyers, put his hand around her neck and dug his thumbs into her throat, strangling her while yelling at her. She says she had trouble breathing during the assault. She says the argument occurred after she got home from work but did include the specifics. Salyers is charged with aggravated domestic assault.

Nicole Yanik charged in 2nd DUI after Madison Street crash
Police say 28-year-old Nicole Yanik was under the influence of a drug when she crashed her Chevrolet Tahoe Wednesday afternoon on Madison Street. She reportedly was nodding off, had slow speech, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She was transported to booking and charged with DUI 2nd, as she has a prior DUI conviction from April of 2022.
Tad Wilkinson charged with elder abuse after causing man to dislocate hip during assault
25-year-old Tad Wilkinson is charged with elder abuse after police say he knocked his child’s great-grandfather to the ground, leaving him with a dislocated hip and various other injuries to his face, hands, and elbow.
DUI: Soldier Jasmyne Bray crahsed into ‘Welcome to Clarksville’ sign after ‘one shot’
22-year-old For Campbell Soldier Jasmyne Bray crashed her car into the “Welcome to Clarksville” sign near state line road just after 3 a.m. Sunday, according to Officer LaJoie who responded to the crash. The Nissan Altima was unoccupied at the time. A witness stated he saw the driver leave the scene with another individual. Officers got in contact with Bray, who she admitted that she was the one driving and had left the scene. She then returned to the scene of the accident and stated that she had one shot to drink earlier that evening. Bray agreed to perform sobriety tests and performed poorly. She was arrested for driving under the influence.
Everton Johnson pours Twisted Tea on ex-girlfriend’s speakers
Police say 27-year-old Everton Johnson destroyed his roommate/ex-girlfriend’s belongings during a heated argument. On 02/18, Officer Weber responded to a vandalism report at S 12th St. Johnson, and ex-girlfriend Stephanie Rodriguez, had an argument that led to Johnson causing property damage. The damage includes a hole in the living room wall, a full-size standing mirror, and dell computer speakers that Johnson poured twisted tea on. During the altercation, Stephanie ran out of her apartment and called emergency services because she believed the situation would have worsened if she had stayed. The victim also stated that Johnson had been drinking.
Bruce Tidwell pulls deputy into cell with him and bites his leg at Montgomery County Jail
22-year-old Bruce Tidwell was found slumped over his steering wheel on the side of the highway. On 02/19/2023, Officer Wright responded to a welfare check After THP Trooper Crysel was unable to get a response from Tidwell, who was passed out over his steering wheel. After banging on the window and shouting, Tidwell was able to exit the vehicle but was so intoxicated he fell asleep while standing up and staggered around. He would not comply with sobriety tests, and the decision was made to take Tidwell into custody. Once Tidwell was told he was being handcuffed, he started to fight back violently, causing himself and the officer to fall to the ground in a struggle. He was finally escorted to the patrol car.
The officer opened the door to remove a bag and Tidwell kicked the door shut on him causing the officer to fall and causing damage to the inside of the vehicle. Tidwell was finally taken to booking. Once there, Deputy Cornett responded to deputy needs assistance call. Upon arrival Tidwell was kicking at other deputies and screaming, “I AM NOT STAYING IN THIS CELL!” He wrestled the deputy into the cell with him. During this time, he also bit the deputy in the leg.
Kenya McNair booped girlfriend on nose during breakup; towered over her
Allyessa Tefft says her 29-year-old boyfriend, Kenya Tracy McNair, towered over her, pointed at her, and repeatedly ‘booped’ her on the nose with his finger. The two are in the middle of ending their relationship, and she says she told him multiple times to back away and eventually hid from him in her bedroom. She says she was placed in fear, and McNair was charged with domestic assault.
Derick Smith charged in assault of his boyfriend, who fought back
34-year-old Derick Smith was charged with the domestic assault of his boyfriend, Nathan, on Frebruary 20. The couple had an argument over “relationship issues,” and Nathan retreated to the bathroom, where he says Derick forced open the door. Nathan says he elbowed his lover in self-defense after he was being attacked. The fight continued until Nathan could retreat to his son’s bathroom, where he could call 911. Officers documented minor injures to the victim. Derick told police he was just following Nathan to the bathroom to “talk to him” and that Nathan started the physical fight. Officers determined Derick to be the primary aggressor.
Soldier Eddie Brown charged with DUI after drinking at Electric Cowboy bar
22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Eddie Brown was driving his Nissan Sentra the wrong way on Ted A. Crozier St. Blvd just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday, when officers conducted a traffic stop. Brown, who was visibly intoxicated, stated he had just left the troubled Electric Cowboy bar, where he consumed “three to five Budweiser beers.” He was transported to Tennova for a blood draw and then to booking, where he was charged with DUI.
Zhana Fletcher charged with assault of mother with incense holder
28-year-old Zhana Fletcher was jailed this week after throwing a glass incense holder at her mother, . The two reportedly argued about Zhana and her girlfriend running a business out of the apartment, and Zhana threw an incense holder at her mother. Officers observed remnants of the incense holder on the floor, and her mother says she was placed in fear. Zhana was charged with domestic assault.
Fort Campbell Soldier Nathaniel Merck charged in 4 a.m. DUI — asleep behind the wheel
21-year-old Nathaniel Merck was found slumped over the wheel of his Volkswagen Passat just before 5 a.m. Saturday near 101st & Trenton Road. Merck was at a traffic light with his vehicle in drive, and several light cycles occurred after the officer arrived. His vehicle began to roll through the intersection as he became alert. Officers had to break through the window of the car, unlock the door, and place the car in park as he was driving toward a ditch. Merck performed poorly on field sobriety tests and admitted he was drunk. He later blew a 0.142% BAC on a breathalyzer.
Roommates jailed after brawl: Dalton Konitzer & Patrick Adams
21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Dalton Konitzer & 34-year-old roommate, Patrick Adams, were both charged with domestic assault late Saturday night after police responded to a brawl between the two. During an argument, Dalton says Patrick came close to him and was “bowing up his shoulders” in an aggressive stance, so he pushed him and told him to step back 3-4 times. Patrick says Dalton came into his room shouting for him to get out of his house. Officers determined both to be aggressors and took them into custody.
Soldier Jonathan Radliff completes drunk driving rampage after leaving Electric Cowboy
22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Jonathan Radliff says he had “four drinks” at the troubled Electric Cowboy club in Clarksville in the early hours of Friday morning. After getting extremely intoxicated, the soldier got into this vehicle and was involved in a hit-and-run which Clarksville Police are investigating. Shortly after that incident he was stopped by deputies on Hand Drive after someone called into say he struck their trailer and was still at the location. Deputies say he was visibly intoxicated and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside his vehicle were three open containers of various alcohol beverages.
Jessica Sullens charged with DUI after drinking at troubled Electric Cowboy
30-year-old Jessica Sullens told THP Trooper Brian Gleen that she had “four beers” at the troubled Electric Cowboy bar in Clarksville Friday night before he pulled her over just after 3 a.m. Saturday. He says she was swerving and could not maintain a lane of travel on Madison Street. Though she reeked of alcohol, the Trooper noted she was jittery, fidgeting, and hyper, and suspected she was also under the influence of a stimulant. After a blood draw, she was transported to booking and charged with DUI.
DaShawn James robs ex-girlfriend on Valentine’s Day
19-year-old Deshawn James told his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend he was coming to her house on February 14 to “cash his check.” She told him she wasn’t going to do that and to not show up at her house. A short time later, he entered her apartment without permission, and she ran to her room and locked the door. James reportedly picked the lock of her bedroom door and an argument over why she would not take him back erupted. During the teenage tussle, he grabbed her iPhone 13 Pro and refused to return it, and would not leave. She screamed for her brother to call their mother, and James fled the scene. Police made contact with DaShawn James, who helped them recover the phone, showing them where he hid it under some pallets at a Lowe’s Home Improvement store.
Tyron Lewis-Adams charged in harassment of duplex neighbor
22-year-old Tyron Lewis-Adams was jailed on February 15th on an outstanding warrant charging him with the harassment of his duplex neighbor, Patricia Millington. She says she has both asked and told Tyron to leave her alone and not communicate with her. Millington says every time she comes out of her residence, Tyron makes threats to do bodily harm to her.
Kimberly Frazier jailed after illegally evicting roommate, putting property in dumpster
26-year-old Kimberly Frazier was jailed this week after illegally evicting her roommate, Charm Tucker, and throwing all of her things in the dumpster of the apartment complex. Charm says she unexpectedly received a text on February 4 from Frazier, stating she was evicted and all of her property was placed in the dumpster. Charm was able to recover some clothing, but most of her things, including a television and toiletries, were not recoverable. Frazier was charged with felony theft and is free on a $2,500 bond.
Nashville Fire medic Nick French jailed in assault of wife in Clarksville
39-year-old Nashville Fire Department Paramedic Nicholas French is charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Amanda French, on February 15. She says she went to the bathroom to shower, and Nicholas turned off the shower. She exited and attempted to re-enter the bathroom and had to push past him as he was blocking her way. In the process, she says he slammed her arm in the door and held it for at least thirty seconds before completely slamming it shut and punching it several times. Officers documented indentations on the victim’s arm and a golf ball-sized lump on her leg from the assault. French has been with the Nashville Fire Department since July of 2021 and is currently using his accrued leave time until the situation has been litigated.
Trio charged after high-speed chase: Diamond Robinson, LeAndreonna Robinson, & Antoine Maupin
Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver Chrysler 200 on I-24 as it was traveling 107 mph on February 13. Inside the vehicle was 19-year-old Diamond Robinson, 20-year-old Le’Andreonna Robinson, and 20-year-old Antoine Maupin. The trio increased speed, and a chase began onto Wilma Rudolph at 85 mph, where they blacked out the vehicle and eventually lost control into a field off Trenton Road. They fled on foot but were apprehended across the field. Inside the vehicle was 17 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of Fentanyl, and a firearm. All three denied being the driver or possession of the gun
Jason Moulton charged in assault of girlfriend, Danielle Cash
40-year-old Jason Moulton was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from January charging him with domestic assault. His girlfriend, Danielle Cash, told police that she found content she disapproved of on Moulton’s phone and demanded that he leave, which he refused to do. She says he then punched her in the chest and fled the residence.
