The victim reports she came home from the gym, and the two had a verbal argument. Brandon then went outside “to speak to a friend” who turned out to be his mother. From outside, he called his girlfriend to demand she comes outside and speaks with his mother. She went outside, where his mother began to curse and push her. Brandon also caused an injury to her thumbnail before picking her up and throwing her down, according to the victim. He fled the residence before police arrived, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Zachary Galbreath charged in assault of girlfriend
22-year-old Zachary Galbreath was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from January, charging him with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Jade Bickert. She told police he assaulted her by first throwing a glass at her and then hitting her in the back of the head and face. Officers documented a bloody nose on the victim, and she was treated by EMS. 21-year-old Caitlin Cross was jailed on May 13, charged with the assault of her wife, Shaeline Diaz, and their roommate, Kenzi Lebouef. Cross and her wife had a verbal argument that escalated with Caitlin punching her lover. Kenzi witnessed the altercation and attempted to de-escalate the situation, but Caitlin then got into a fistfight with her. She refused to discuss the situation with officers and was reportedly too drunk to provide a statement. She was deemed to be the primary aggressor and transported to booking.
Sheri Maddox-Slade charged in roommate rumble
41-year-old Sheri Maddox-Slade was jailed on May 7th after following her roommate outside and escalating an argument to assault. Police responded to Bellamy Lane, and Maddox told them that she and her roommate Taylor Smith were in an argument that turned violent when Smith shoved her, pulled her by her hair, and threw gravel in her eyes. Smith told police that Maddox followed her outside while letting her dog out. According to Smith, Maddox pushed her to the ground and started scratching her neck, but she was able to get away once she defended herself. Iyanna Woods punches her boyfriend and his mom in the face during an argument
20-year-old Iyanna Woods was booked on May 7th after punching her boyfriend in the face in front of his mom at her home on Ladd Drive. Tyre Thomas and Woods live together at his mother’s house. They got into an argument, and Woods punched him in the face leaving him with swelling and a bloodshot eye. Latonya Johns separated her son and Woods, grabbed her grandchildren, and tried to get Woods out of the house. She was holding her grandchildren in her left arm when Woods also punched her on the right side of her face.
Kadarius White bites hand of ex-girlfriend when she refused to return gifts
26-year-old Kadarius White reportedly appeared at the home of his ex-girlfriend, Jordyn Johnson, unexpectedly late at night on April 29 and demanded the return of all the items he had purchased for her. When she refused to let him take anything, the argument escalated, and she says he began to throw her around the living room. He then reportedly bit her on the hand and strangled her until she says she went unconscious. At the time of his arrest, White also had an outstanding warrant for drug possession.
Shakera Smith “flips out” on ex-girlfriend, after showing up at her house drunk
31-year-old Shakera Smith was jailed on May 5th after slapping her ex-girlfriend in the face at her home on Beech Street. Shanon Palmore told police that she allowed Smith to stay the night when she arrived drunk. They started arguing, and then Smith started “flipping out.” She began throwing glasses in the kitchen and slapped Palmore in the face. Palmore locked herself in the bedroom so Smith couldn’t get to her, but Smith started kicking the door and trying to pick the lock to get to her. Palmore was so afraid she crawled out of her bedroom window and ran to the neighbor’s house to call 911. When she returned home, Smith was gone, and she had taken her cell phone, valued at $1,200.
Tyler Kuan charged after slapping his wife in her face “really hard”
33-year-old Tyler Kuan was charged with domestic assault on May 1 after his wife, Ashlea Kuan, told police he slapped her in the face “really hard.” The two were reportedly in a verbal altercation when she says he shoved her as she was holding their child. Once she placed the child on the ground, she says he slapped her in the face really hard. When officers asked Tyler what happened, he stated, “Ask her.” The victim had redness and signs of an assault.

21-year-old Elijah Cox is charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Jade Rothermel, on April 13 after she tossed his Oreo cookies into the hallway during an argument. The couple of one year had an argument in the bedroom, and she told him to leave so she could get dressed. Elijah stated he wanted to get some things from the room first, and they continued to argue. She then tossed his cookies, resulting in Elijah smacking her in the face and knocking her onto the bed. He then gathered his things and fled the house before police arrived.
Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Foster charged in assault of lover at Clarksville Bar
42-year-old Nashville Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Foster was jailed on April 12th after assaulting a woman that he is in a sexual relationship with. Police responded to Mr. Billy’s Bar, where Mr. Foster initially claimed he was assaulted. When police reviewed the camera footage, there was no evidence of the incident. Police questioned the victim, Melissa Rodriguez, and witnesses, who said Mr. Foster followed them outside while making threats toward them, noting he works for the Sherrif’s Department. Then he walked towards Ms. Rodriguez and pushed her. She pushed him back and punched him in self-defense. In a statement, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office stated Foster has been “removed from duty pending the outcome of this criminal investigation.”
Jessica Wilk throws statue at boyfriend in argument over “messy house”
28-year-old Jessica Wilk and her boyfriend, James Yeargin, returned to their home on April 14 when James reportedly started an argument about the house being “a mess.” Both parties claim the other pushed them, and Jessica admitted to throwing a statue at James and breaking it. James was able to duck, and it only grazed his hands, leaving visible cuts and destroying the statue. Jessica was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

She told police he became upset when she was on the phone with a friend and took her phone twice, each time slamming it against a wall. The second throw destroyed the phone, leaving it shattered and bent. She says he also threatened to “beat her,” which placed her in fear. He reportedly drew back his hand as if to backhand her but did not follow through. He was located nearby when police arrived and denied anything else happened other than a verbal altercation.
Toussunt Trammell charged in assault of child over spilled milk & cereal
26-year-old Toussunt Trammell was watching his one-year-old niece at his grandmother’s house on the morning of March 29. The child spilled a bowl of cereal, upsetting Trammell. He reportedly smacked the child twice with excessive force, then grabbed her by both arms, picked her up, and shoved her into the couch. Trammell told police he only ‘lightly smacked’ the child, despite the grandmother being a witness to the assault.
Jeramey Hart punches his mother’s boyfriend in the face during ride home
30-year-old Jeramey Hart was riding in the back seat of a vehicle on March 25, with his mother, Chrystal Hill, and her boyfriend, Paul Perry, also in the vehicle. As they were almost home, Hart reportedly began to punch Perry on both sides of his face, leaving him with bruises, as documented by police. Hart stated Perry had grabbed him earlier when they were at a bar, and this was the continuation of that escalated argument, which was about motorcycles.
Matthew Lander pins wife to floor; kicks her, per report
34-year-old Matthew Lander reportedly was in an argument with his wife, Brittany Lander, on March 26 when she says he pushed her to the floor and began to kick her multiple times. She says the assault continued as he got on top of her, pinned her down, brought his fist up as if to punch her face, and threatened her. Officers documented abrasions and marks on the victim.
Sylvera Morgan punches sister in her head during dispute over money
32-year-old Sylvera Morgan was jailed on March 23rd on a warrant from March 17th for attacking her sister, Alexis Harris. Police responded to Royster Lane where Harris tells them that she and her sister had gotten into a dispute over money. She hadn’t heard from Morgan in a few days until she showed up at her house earlier that day. When Harris opened the door, Morgan started hitting her in the head. Harris left her home and her sister called 911 but they could not locate Morgan at that time so a warrant was issued for her arrest.
