Andre Gentry flees into woods after friend speeds down Tiny Town Road

23-year-old Andre Gentry, an employee of New Life Church, was seen in a vehicle with Amari Quarles, who was recklessly driving on Tiny Town Road on April 10th. Quarles was observed speeding down Tiny Town Road and then turning onto Pembroke Road, where he continued to speed. This prompted law enforcement to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. Deputies pursued the car with their emergency lights and sirens activated. However, the vehicle continued to speed off for two minutes before stopping at the end of Arvin Drive.

When the car came to a stop, both Quarles and Gentry exited the vehicle and ran into the woods. Another deputy was able to capture Gentry nearby. Deputies searched the car and found two handguns, 190.49 grams of marijuana, scales, and small baggies. One of the handguns inside the vehicle was reported stolen in Clarksville. A search of Andre Gentry’s person yielded another 8.4 grams of weed. Andre Gentry was taken into custody and charged with evading arrest, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of marijuana, theft of property, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

25-year-old Briana Salyers, owner/director of The Happy Vine Villa, was caught assaulting a one-year-old child at Barkwood Drive on April 5th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Salyers. Salyers stated that the child had a history of biting other children at their daycare. So, she believed the best thing to do was to show the child not to bite. Salyer stated that she lightly bit five locations on the child’s body, including the forearm, shoulder, thigh, back, and cheek. Briana Salyers was taken into custody and charged with child abuse on April 10th.

Joshua Hess caught stealing $6,000 car hauler via GPS tracking device

45-year-old Joshua Hess was caught stealing a 7×20 car hauler on February 14th, 2022. Hess was instructed to deliver the car hauler to the victim’s home, but it was later discovered that it had been stolen. A GPS tracking device was attached to the car hauler, aided in its recovery. Law enforcement attempted to contact Hess several times, but they were unsuccessful. The 7×20 car hauler is valued at around $6,000. Rylan Hopkins punches girlfriend multiple times after looking through her phone

21-year-old Rylan Hopkins was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Jayna Williams, at the Baymont Motel on Holiday Drive on March 7th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Williams, who displayed multiple facial injuries while holding her one-year-old baby. Williams informed officers that Hopkins assaulted her after he went through her cell phone. Reportedly, Hopkins became enraged and punched her in the face five times while she was lying on the bed. Williams attempted to call for help by using the phone in the room, but she was unsuccessful. Williams ran to the door to find help, but Hopkins held the door shut and proceeded to strangle her. Ryan Hopkins was unavailable at the scene because he left before law enforcement arrived. Hopkins was later taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault on April 10th.

21-year-old Rafael Torres was involved in a domestic dispute with his mother at Dawson Avenue on April 9th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Torres’s mother, who stated that Torres threw things at her and pushed her. According to Torres’s mother, the two had an argument about who Torres’ father is. After Torres’ mother refused to tell him who his father was, he became belligerent. Torres started throwing things and pushed her down, causing a large abrasion on her chest. Torres’s mother added that Torres had been drinking all day. Samantha Fitzpatrick throws “empty beer can” at boyfriend during argument

26-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, John Parker, at his McCan Drive residence on April 9th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Parker, who stated that Fitzpatrick assaulted him. Parker noted that Fitzpatrick became extremely belligerent, so he was trying to calm her down. While trying to calm her down, Fitzpatrick left the house and walked down the street while yelling. Parker told Fitzpatrick to come back so they could “talk.” Parker then sat in his vehicle while he waited for her to return.

When Fitzpatrick returned, Fitzpatrick threw “an empty beer can” at Parker through his open car window, causing an abrasion under Parker’s left eye. After doing so, Fitzpatrick reportedly walked around Parker’s car and started “attacking him.” Parker told officers he put his arms up to “create space” between them, but while doing so, Fitzpatrick “bit” him, causing a small abrasion and broken skin.

During the investigation, Fitzpatrick was not cooperative with officers regarding the details of the incident despite her being the one who called 911. After a while, Fitzpatrick mentioned several previous arguments involving her and Parker but did not elaborate further. Fitzpatrick also denied that anything physical occurred. Samantha Fitzpatrick was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on April 10th.

DUI: Antonio Jett drives with no seatbelt after using cocaine on Fort Campbell Boulevard

34-year-old Antonio Jett was seen driving in a 2008 white Chevy Trailblazer with no seatbelt on Fort Campbell Boulevard on April 9th. Law enforcement conducted a traffic stop on Jett upon seeing this. Officers’ K-9 unit was alerted by Jett’s vehicle, prompting a probable cause search. The search yielded a cut straw and a silver cylindrical container with cocaine residue. Based on Jett’s erratic movement, officers requested him to execute some field sobriety tests. Jett consented to the sobriety tests and performed poorly on all of them. Officers read Jett implied consent, which he refused. Antonio Jett was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended/revoked license, unlawful drug paraphernalia, no seatbelt, and an implied consent violation.

De’Artis Sykes caught with stolen AR-style firearm, 26 grams of marijuana during search

20-year-old De’Artis Markel Tyrin Sykes was taken into custody for the unlawful carrying of a weapon, theft of property, simple possession, and unlawful drug paraphernalia on April 9th. At around 10:12 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at Sykes’s Timberlake Drive apartment. Officers did so after previously conducting surveillance, where Sykes would exit his unit with an AR-style firearm and enter his white 2004 Acura before leaving the area. When he returned, they searched his apartment and discovered the mentioned firearm was reported stolen via NCIC on December 31st, 2023. Sykes’ criminal history shows a felony guilty plea from 2023. Additionally, officers located a teal backpack with a scale and 26 grams of marijuana in the living room. Sykes was then detained for the incident.

Soldier Brandon Thomas crashes motorcycle after attempting to flee police

On April 9th, 23-year-old Soldier Brandon Thomas was involved in a single-vehicle accident after fleeing police on Dover Road. When officers noticed Thomas’s motorcycle going 67 mph in a 45 mph zone, they initiated a traffic stop. Officers saw a female occupant on the back of the motorcycle when it sped up and passed officers at an increased speed of 70 mph. A traffic stop was attempted, but the motorcycle failed to yield. Officers did not chase after Thomas due to wet road conditions. Moments later, another officer heard the sound of a vehicle crash at an intersection near Dover Road and Power Street. Officers confirmed the motorcycle involved as the vehicle that had fled police moments earlier. The female passenger sustained road rash injuries due to the crash. Thomas was taken into custody for failure to exercise due care, speeding, reckless endangerment, and evading arrest.

Davonia McMiller threatens baby-daddy with knife during argument over infidelity

On April 8th, 36-year-old Davonia McMiller was involved in a domestic incident with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Mario Jackson, at their Needmore apartment residence. Upon officers’ arrival, they spoke with McMiller, who stated that Jackson had come over to pick up their son. She claimed that an argument started between them, then claimed that she felt threatened and pulled a knife on Jackson. McMiller also added that Jackson got into her face and accused her of infidelity. This prompted McMiller to tell Jackson to leave, which he refused. McMiller then picked up a knife and put it up to Jackson’s throat. Jackson tried to take away the knife but failed, slicing both of their hands in the process. Jackson was not on the scene when officers arrived, and the knife could not be recovered. Officers deemed McMiller to be the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for aggravated assault on April 9th.

Hellen Negash evades arrest after driving to church with expired tags

34-year-old Hellen Negash was seen evading arrest at an intersection near Highway 76 on April 6th. Officers initiated a traffic stop with both lights and sirens on because they observed a vehicle with an expired Tennessee license plate. Negash picked up speed and traveled southeast on Highway 76. After officers contacted the vehicle’s owner, Filmon Gebrezgi, Negash’s husband, he stated she was using the vehicle that day to drive to church. Officers also contacted Negash, who admitted to being the vehicle’s operator at the time of the incident. Negash was taken into custody for evading arrest and driving an unregistered vehicle.

DUI: Dayquan Redd swerves between lanes on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Chevy Malibu

31-year-old Dayquan Redd was seen in a silver Chevy Malibu swerving in and out of his lane at Fort Campbell Boulevard on April 6th. When officers conducted a traffic stop, Redd slowed down, turned into the left continuous turn lane, crossed three lanes of oncoming traffic, and stopped. Officers made contact with Redd and noticed a strong odor of alcohol. This prompted officers to request Redd to perform field sobriety tests. Redd consented to the sobriety tests and performed poorly. After a 20-minute observation period, Redd performed a breathalyzer test and scored a .145% BAC. Dayquan Redd was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

47-year-old Antonio Fernandez was caught trespassing in an Auto Zone near Fort Campbell Blvd On April 7th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the current manager. She stated she could not help Fernandez with his return and wanted him to leave. Fernandez was repeatedly asked to leave the property and return when the store manager was there, but he refused. Fernandez stated that he was done talking with officers and was not leaving. Fernandez was taken into custody for criminal trespassing.

26-year-old Isaiah Batiste was seen vandalizing a 2010 Hyundai Elantra in the Veterans Plaza parking lot on April 8th. The witness who called about the incident led officers to the vandalized car, where officers found Batiste detained by security. Officers then checked the Hyundai Elantra and observed several key markings around it. During the investigation, it was found that the vehicle belonged to Batiste’s father, Brian Batiste. Law enforcement received surveillance footage of Batiste approaching the car, walking around all four sides while moving his arm as if he was keying it. Isaiah Batiste was taken into custody and charged with vandalism.

Amber Shamp assaults husband during argument about “stupid sh*t”

On April 8th, 33-year-old Amber Shamp was involved in a domestic incident with her husband at their Ramblewood Road residence. When officers arrived, they spoke with Michael Shamp, Ambers’ husband. Michael stated that they were drinking but never gave a definitive reason for the argument aside from saying they argued about “Stupid sh*t.” According to officers, Michael had noticeable scratches and marks on his chest.

After speaking with Michael, officers talked to Amber, who claimed they were arguing like usual. However, Amber said during the argument, she had to take a phone call. So she told Michael to shut up, which upset him. Amber also admitted that she was upset, so she ended up scratching and hitting Michael. Amber also had marks on her body but claimed that they were from her toddler and that Michael did not strike her. Officers deemed Shamp to be the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault.
