DUI: Zachary Jarman crashes car after taking Fentanyl

28-year-old Zachary Jarman was involved in a single-vehicle car wreck on April 1st. Officers made contact with Jarman and observed drugs in his vehicle. After speaking with Jarman, he admitted to drinking and consuming Fentanyl. Jarman consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Zachary Jarman was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence, failure to yield, driving with no registration, and driving with no insurance on April 2nd.

Monica Reames found with Fentanyl after roommate rumble

35-year-old Monica Reames was jailed on July 29th after her roommate, Kara McAfee, reported she had been assaulted at their home on Broadripple Drive. Reames told police that she had been living with McAfee for three months and wanted to move out, which caused an argument. She stated that she did not assault McAfee, but she did slap her cell phone out of her hands. McAfee added that she was also pushed. Reames was taken into custody and searched. During the search, officers located a cut straw, burnt tin foil, and approximately .5 grams of fentanyl.

Murray Hunter passenger in drug & gun-filled car that fled from police

35-year-old Murray Hunter was booked on July 14th after being involved in a car chase that ended in the parking lot of Wagon Wheel on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Zachary Clark was the driver during the chase. Unknown pills were found in his pockets that were later identified as Percocets and Xanax. A search of the vehicle yielded 5.7 grams of fentanyl, 46.6 grams of marijuana, a loaded Ruger 5.7, a loaded Kel-Tec PMR, and a loaded Glock 36 in the backseat. Hunter was a passenger in the backseat in arm’s reach of the items found during the search. Hunter is a convicted felon.

Jemini Lyons found with Fentanyl, Heroin, & Xanax while shoplifting at Dollar General

24-year-old Jemini Lyons was jailed on July 7th after he was caught shoplifting from Dollar General. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed Lyons to have merchandise concealed in his pockets and a large amount of cash in his hand. When asked why he had the merchandise in his pocket, he claimed that he was “just holding it” but planned on paying for it. While emptying his pockets, a plastic bag fell out, and he admitted that it was 10 Xanax bars that belonged to him. Officers opened the bag and found a bag of a tan powdery substance and a bag with a pink powdery substance, and the 10 Xanax bars. The tan powder field tested positive for 1 gram of Fentanyl, and the pink powder for 3.4 grams of Heroin.

Corey Wiist found passed out from Fentanyl at gas pump in Clarksville

33-year-old Corey Wiist was jailed on April 9th after falling asleep behind the wheel of his truck at the Marathon Gas Station on Ashland City Road. Police responded to pump four and banged on the driver’s side window several times to wake Wiist up. When he finally woke, his eyes were glossy, and he had pinpoint pupils. Officers asked to search his truck and if there was anything illegal inside, to which he stated, “There shouldn’t be.” While other officers were searching his vehicle, He agreed to sobriety testing and performed satisfactorily.

Fentanyl wrapped in tin foil was found in the center console, along with two cut straws with residue. It was later discovered that Wiist had no active driver’s license, as it was revoked in 2017. He was then arrested, and more fentanyl was found, this time wrapped in lottery tickets in his wallet. Mr. Wisst admitted to the substances being fentanyl and using it earlier that morning.

Krystel Corkins brought her Fentanyl & crystal meth to jail with her

38-year-old Krystel Corkins was arrested for trespassing at a Power Street property on March 23 and transported to the Montgomery County Jail to be booked. During a strip search, deputies located a syringe that was still partially loaded and a plastic baggy containing 0.34 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Corkins admitted the syringe had contained Fentanyl, and she had used both drugs before being placed into custody.

Trio charged after high-speed chase: Diamond Robinson, LeAndreonna Robinson, & Antoine Maupin

Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver Chrysler 200 on I-24 as it was traveling 107 mph on February 13. Inside the vehicle was 19-year-old Diamond Robinson, 20-year-old Le’Andreonna Robinson, and 20-year-old Antoine Maupin. The trio increased speed, and a chase began onto Wilma Rudolph at 85 mph, where they blacked out the vehicle and eventually lost control into a field off Trenton Road. They fled on foot but were apprehended across the field. Inside the vehicle was 17 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of Fentanyl, and a firearm. All three denied being the driver or possession of the gun

Kayla Meives charged after using drugs in Sonic stall with young daughter in vehicle

35-year-old Kayla Jo Meives faces child abuse/neglect and drug paraphernalia charges after Clarksville Police were notified she was nodding off while parked in a Sonic stall for over ten minutes with a 7-year-old child in the vehicle. As Officer Andrew Ramirez approached the driver’s side of her vehicle, he noticed she was holding a dollar bill with white powder/residue on it. She quickly stuffed it into her purse before stepping out of the Kia Sorento and admitted it was “more than a dollar bill.” Inside the vehicle, multiple dollar bills with drug residue were found, and a field test on them returned as positive for Fentanyl.

James Anthony Jackson fled from police during a traffic stop for no headlights

Officers say 33-year-old James Anthony Jackson was driving on N. Riverside Drive just after 3 a.m. Sunday with no headlights on. As the officer attempted a traffic stop, the black sedan pulled over to indicate he was stopping, then suddenly turned and fled northbound at approximately 60 mph, too dangerous to pursue, so the pursuit was called off at Kraft Street. About two minutes later, the car was observed to be crashed into a tree at Kraft St. & Parham Dr., where a witness had pulled him from the vehicle. Inside the car was a Taurus handgun, an open container of alcohol, and marijuana, a “bag of colorful pills” (some of which tested positive for Fentanyl), and more marijuana was found on him at the hospital.

Eric Sotnick used cocaine before Trenton Rd Crash, had more stashed in his rectum — retrieved at ER

44-year-old Eric Sotnick faces a multitude of charges after police responded to a crash with injuries on Trenton Road on May 3rd where he was the driver. The crash left both him and his passenger, Kim Sotnick, unresponsive, and he fell out of the driver’s seat when medics opened the door. He admitted to using what he believed to be cocaine, however, he was revived with NARCAN, leading authorities to believe it was likely laced with Fentanyl. Once at the hospital, he allowed a nurse from the ER to retrieve a bag of white powder which tested positive for a cocaine base from his rectum.

Tregan Woody charged with DUI after release from hospital following crash

23-year-old Tregan Woody was jailed this week on a March 7th DUI charge for which he was hospitalized immediately after the incident. Police say they observed Woody seemingly intoxicated with pinpoint pupils, unresponsive, and falling asleep after a crash with injuries at Kraft & College St, and medics transported him to Tennova for treatment. While at the hospital, he stated he does not do drugs, then admitted only to smoking marijuana prior to the crash. Police charged him with driving under the influence and noted a history of overdose and Fentanyl possession.

Fentanyl found in purse of shoplifting suspect — Tiana Thorpe

Clarksville Police say they searched the purse of 27-year-old Tiana Thorpe during a shoplifting investigation at Walmart on Fort Campbell Blvd and found 3 grams of a substance that tested positive for containing fentanyl, along with a straw and baggies with residue.

Thorpe is free on a $25,000 bond.
