Emily Herrera kicks a nurse, bites another nurse, while escaping hospital

26-year-old Emily Herrera was jailed last week after she fought medical staff who was trying to stop her from escaping the Tennova Hospital. An officer was at Tennova ER for an unrelated call when they saw a nurse trying to stop a patient from leaving. There was a signed 6404 order for Herrera that prevents her from leaving at her own will.

RN Christa Stoler attempted to de-escalate the situation and bring Herrera back to her room. Multiple staff and the officer eventually joined in to try to stop her from leaving. She picked her legs up and kicked RN Warren Ward in the chest. While she was being lowered to the ground, she tried to punch RN Stoler in the face but didn’t make contact. She did however manage to bite RN Stoler’s forearm, breaking the skin and causing a laceration 1 inch in length. The nurse was admitted as a patient for her injuries.

DUI: Blake Frey charged after crashing into utility police on Princeton Circle

Clarksville Police say 30-year-old Blake Tyler Frey crashed his red Dodge Journey into a utility pole on Princeton Circle. Witnesses reported he walked away from the crash, and officers located him several houses away from the crash, stumbling and under the influence with constricted pupils. He was transported to Tennova for treatment of his injuries and charged with DUI. After discharge from the Emergency Department, he refused to leave the property at 5:03 a.m. and was additionally charged with trespassing on hospital property.

Tennova has 86-year-old Doris Head arrested & removed from hospital, where her son was a patient

Clarksville Police responded to Tennova Hospital Wednesday morning just before 11 a.m. to the report of a person trespassing. Doctors and security reportedly asked 86-year-old Doris Head to leave the property multiple times. Doctors say she was interfering with medical staff who were attempting to care for her son, who was a patient at the hospital. Officers made contact with Doris Head, and she continued to refuse to leave the property when asked.

Tregan Woody charged with DUI after release from hospital following crash

23-year-old Tregan Woody was jailed this week on a March 7th DUI charge for which he was hospitalized immediately after the incident. Police say they observed Woody seemingly intoxicated with pinpoint pupils, unresponsive, and falling asleep after a crash with injuries at Kraft & College St, and medics transported him to Tennova for treatment. While at the hospital, he stated he does not do drugs, then admitted only to smoking marijuana prior to the crash. Police charged him with driving under the influence and noted a history of overdose and Fentanyl possession.
