Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Williams-Harrell, 26, charged in rape of 16-year-old girl

26-year-old Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Corrections Deputy Justin Williams-Harrell is charged with the felony aggravated statutory rape of a 16-year-old girl. The victim disclosed to her parents that she met Harrell through Facebook, where he used the name ‘Miles Morales.’ She believe him to be 23 years old when they first met, but eventually learned his true age throughout their relationship. She disclosed they had sexual intercourse at least three times at his apartment at the Villages at Peachers Mill in Clarksville. Williams-Harrell was interviewed on April 28 at the Sheriff’s Office, during which he admitted to having sex with the 16-year-old victim. His employment was also terminated at that time.

Perry Reed charged with handgun possession under rarely used addiction law in Clarksville

22-year-old Perry Deshawn Reed was stopped for speeding on I-24 near Exit 11 after officers said he was traveling 80 mph in a 70 mph zone. A THP Officer arrived on the scene and conducted a search which revealed a pill that, while the officer claimed it was Fentanyl, Reed insisted was just a Roxy. Under the seat was a Glock handgun, and during questioning, the officer got Reed to admit that he “takes pills daily” – which he then used to additionally charge Reed under an obscure law that makes it a crime to possess a firearm if you’re addicted to any controlled substance.

Eviction leads to a standoff at Clarksville’s Autumn Winds Apartments Thursday

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to serve a Writ of Eviction at Autumn Winds Apartments on Ted A. Crozier Blvd, at Building 700 earlier this morning. The occupant refused to leave and has now secured herself in the apartment. Sheriff’s Negotiators are working to bring a peaceful resolution to this incident.

First responders are on standby per safety protocols for all involved. The department is asking the residents to please stay back from law enforcement and the south side of building 700. This is a developing story.

Paradise Anderson charged with burglary after beating her baby’s daddy

Clarksville Police got creative when they charged 27-year-old Paradise Arzelia Lorena Anderson with felony burglary on May 5th. Her ex-boyfriend says that on that day, he declined to let her pick up the child they have in common, and the argument quickly became physical. She reportedly forced open the door of his vehicle and attempted to remove the key from the ignition. During this attempt, she punched and scratched him multiple times, and officers documented scratches and a welt on his face from the assault. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Inmate found dead hours after being booked into Montgomery County Jail — John Frederick Murray Jr

44-year John Murray, Jr., was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 5th just before 4 p.m. on DUI related charges. Sources familiar with his intake say he told staff he would be detoxing from alcohol in a “very bad way” if unable to post his $8,000 bond. Hours later he would be found dead in his cell.

Mr. Billy’s Bar & Grill employee says they were bitten by drunk woman — Monika Falcon arrested

Officers responded to Mr. Billy’s Bar & Grill to a report of a woman lying on the floor, extremely intoxicated. They found 32-year-old Monika Falcon as the intoxicated woman and made contact with an employee who says when they attempted to assist her from the floor so she would go home, she bit an employee in the chest. She was unable or unwilling to speak to officers, and her speech that was attempted was not able to be understood due to her extreme level of intoxication.

Mary Olivia Booker charged with animal cruelty after abandoning dog in Clarksville

52-year-old Mary Booker was booked into jail this week on an outstanding warrant from January, charging her with animal cruelty. It had been reported to animal control that a large breed dog had been abandoned at Booker’s home on Locust Street. For three days, officers attempted to contact Booker about the animal via in-person visits, phone, and email, without success. The dog was considered abandoned and taken into the custody of Animal Control, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Tregan Woody charged with DUI after release from hospital following crash

23-year-old Tregan Woody was jailed this week on a March 7th DUI charge for which he was hospitalized immediately after the incident. Police say they observed Woody seemingly intoxicated with pinpoint pupils, unresponsive, and falling asleep after a crash with injuries at Kraft & College St, and medics transported him to Tennova for treatment. While at the hospital, he stated he does not do drugs, then admitted only to smoking marijuana prior to the crash. Police charged him with driving under the influence and noted a history of overdose and Fentanyl possession.

Malik Scott charged in multiple assaults of girlfriend, Madison Gerkin, months after it reportedly happened.

Madison Gerkin called police on March 14th to report that her 19-year-old boyfriend, Malik Isaiah Scott, had assaulted her multiple times last year between August 20th and December 31st, 2021. She detailed being pushed over the foot of her bed, having a sweater ripped off her body, being strangled until she lost consciousness, and multiple other incidents she says occurred during those five months last year. Woman charged with using OfferUp to scam the sale of a Playstation — Dyandria Shonta Sealey

Officers say they have identified Dyandria “Shonta Black” Sealey as the person who used the OfferUp app to scam Lelia Burke on the sale of a Playstation before Christmas. They say Sealey accepted $499 via CashApp but never showed up to deliver the Playstion, and never had any intention of doing so. After receiving account data back from both OfferUp and Cashapp, it was determined both accounts belonged to her, with her confirmed phone number and email address, and personal identifying information for the banking portions.

Palmyra man charged in assault of his boyfriend — Johnathon Brown arrested

26-year-old Johnathon Brown is charged with the domestic assault of his boyfriend, Daniel Senft, after he reportedly placed grabbed him from the rear of his hoodie and placed him in a headlock during an argument when Daniel brought him food. A neighbor, Crystal Brown, witnessed the assault and called police. Brown wouldn’t come to the door when police arrived but was eventually booked into jail on the open warrant on Tuesday.

Man charged with assaulting his girlfriend, and his grandfather — Donavan Prewitt arrested, again.

Deputies say Roger Sutton informed them his grandson, 22-year-old Donavan Scott Prewitt, had been arguing with his girlfriend, Rylie Walker, and he observed him hit her in the head multiple times. As Mr. Sutton attempted to stop the assault, he says he was also hit in the head multiple times by Prewitt. After police arrived, Donavan Prewitt was located a short distance away from the residence, walking down the street. He was taken into custody and charged with assault, domestic assault, and violating bond conditions from a prior arrest.
