52-year-old Mary Olivia White Booker was booked into jail this week on an outstanding warrant from January, charging her with animal cruelty. It had been reported to animal control that a large breed dog had been abandoned at Booker’s home on Locust Street. For three days, officers attempted to contact Booker about the animal via in-person visits, phone, and email, without success. The dog was considered abandoned and taken into the custody of Animal Control, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Mary Olivia Booker was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 4th, charged with cruelty to animals. She is free on a $500 bond to her 407 Locust Street address in Clarksville.
