Marquis Moultrie busted by bondsmen after bouncing yet again on a court date

When we last covered 29-year-old Marquis Moultrie, he was finally being brought before a judge to begin to answer for the 2015 robbery of Sam’s Tobacco store. He posted a new $15,000 bond and failed to appear for the next four court dates. His bond company was issued a final forfeiture notice, and this week they were able to track down their bond jumper. Jamie Thomas and his team took Moultrie into custody. He remains jailed in lieu of a new $30,000 bond.

Brittney Kennedy jailed after jumping bond on theft/probation violation case

33-year-old Brittney Kennedy failed to show up for court for a drug-related probation violation on a theft case from 2022. She filed a motion to have her warrant recalled after she jumped bond and also failed to show up for that court date. Jamie Thomas and his bounty hunter team say they beat on her door for several minutes this week until she eventually opened the door and surrendered herself to them.

James Woodruff jailed after girlfriend calls 911 to report he scratched her

Haley Conner Woodruff called 911 to report her husband, 38-year-old Clifford ‘James’ Woodruff, left a mark on her arm when he grabbed the keys from her hands during an argument. Officer arrived at the Paradise Hill Road residence where the couple was arguing, reportedly over James cheating. James said nothing physical occurred between the two, however, with the scratch present he was transported to booking and charged with domestic assault.

Mia Evans charged with DUI after being stopped for 88 mph in a 55 mph zone

24-year-old Mia Evans was clocked at 88 mph in a 55 mph zone on July 2nd. When pulled over for the infraction, it was quickly observed she was under the influence as determined by the smell of alcohol coming from her and her behaviors. Evans admitted she had just left a party in Dover where she had been drinking. She was issued a warning for the speeding and taken into custody for the DUI.

Paradise Anderson charged with burglary after beating her baby’s daddy

Clarksville Police got creative when they charged 27-year-old Paradise Arzelia Lorena Anderson with felony burglary on May 5th. Her ex-boyfriend says that on that day, he declined to let her pick up the child they have in common, and the argument quickly became physical. She reportedly forced open the door of his vehicle and attempted to remove the key from the ignition. During this attempt, she punched and scratched him multiple times, and officers documented scratches and a welt on his face from the assault. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Soldier charged after slamming wife’s arm in freezer in argument over food space — Tristen Harper

25-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Tristen Ray Harper was jailed this week after his wife, Rebecca, reported he slammed her arm in the freezer. Police responded to take her report at CPD Headquarters on April 21st, for the incident which occurred on April 18th. Police viewed a video of the incident which showed Tristen shutting the freezer door on her arm and leaning on the door so she could not remove it, after an argument about food items taking up too much space in the freezer. She also provided photos of visible marks on her arm, taken after the incident.

Sean Bronaugh breaks through bathroom door, assaults wife in attempt to retrieve his phone

Jasmine Bronaugh says she returned home from Fort Bragg to find her husband, 25-year-old Sean Bronaugh, had a party at their home. She told responding officers that she took his phone and discovered he was cheating on her. Sean says Jasmine woke him up by hitting him in the face before she went upstairs and locked herself in the bathroom with the phone. She says Sean broke through the bathroom door and began to punch her in the face with his fists, then slammed her head into the wall several times. She was able to get outside to call 911, however, both parties would end up behind bars.

Woodlawn woman charged with felony animal cruelty — Sandra Janus

57-year-old Sandra Elaine Janus is free on a $2,500 bond after she says she observed a cat on her property in Woodlawn, grabbed her .22 caliber pistol, and shot it. She is charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals.

Serial Lowe’s Shoplifter Arrested — Trey Allen Young

24-year-old Trey Allen Young was recently booked into the Montgomery County jail on multiple warrants charging him with stealing from Lowes. During two September incidents, he walked out with a $229 Husqvarna blower and then a $149 Craftsman Trimmer and a pole saw worth $219. In November he walked out with another $99 worth of merchandise.

Serial shoplifter arrested again — Nefertiti Jones charged in $111 Walmart theft

28-year-old Nefertiti Jones was jailed on January 28th on an outstanding warrant from a January 2nd shoplifting incident at the Madison Street Walmart. Court records allege she concealed $111.09 in merchandise and walked past all points of sale to leave the building. Walmart is seeking restitution. She was taken into custody on this charge as police served an outstanding violation of probation warrant which was drug-related on the same day.

DUI: Drunken Soldier found behind the wheel with open bottle of Tito’s vodka — Bryson Tesler

Officers responded to a reckless driver report and found 23-year-old Bryson Tesler behind the wheel of a gray F-150. Citizens had reported he was driving “all over the roadway” and he admitted to Officer Novenario that he had been drinking. An open bottle of Tito’s vodka was found in the vehicle. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

20-year-old Jaylin Marie Asmus Tran is charged with the domestic assault of her husband, Charlie Tran, after police say he picked her up from a party and an argument ensued about infidelity issues as they returned home. She reportedly threw his computer on the ground, threw things at the walls of their apartment, and assaulted him in the head.

Clarksville Police have arrested Cynthia ‘Katie’ Hutchins and charged her with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding “marijuana residue” (but no actual usable marijuana), scales, and sandwich bags inside a vehicle she was briefly in with Jocqui Smith, who they had under surveillance for drug activity. She is free on a $2,500 bond.

Woman charged in burglary of South Riverside Drive laundromat — Trachel Stevenson

27-year-old Trachel Stevenson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail this week on an outstanding warrant alleging she broke into a South Riverside Drive laundromat with a co-defendant and took $300 from a coin machine. Police say the incident was captured on video.

She is charged with felony burglary.

Woman charged with biting husband during argument — Ern’Drinque Walker

21-year-old Ern’Drinque Walker was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on January 6th, charged with domestic assault. Court records allege she bit her husband, Treyvon Johnson, in a struggle over a phone.

In 20202, Trevyon was also charged with domestic assault after Ern’Drinque reported to police he “bear-hugged” her too tightly in another fight over a phone.
