23-year-old Tessa Nicole Travis is free on a $70,000 bond after Clarksville Police raided her home on December 28th to execute a search warrant. Inside the home, agents seized marijuana, MDMA, smoked blunts, THC vapes, THC edibles, THC wax, THC drinks, and over 100 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. Paraphernalia was also located, including rolling rays with residue, grinders, multiple phones, bongs, and plastic baggies. Cash, a shotgun, and a Glock handgun were also seized. A co-defendant, Brent Davis, was also charged.
22-year-old KeAundrea Stovall was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle driven by Fort Campbell Soldier Daniel Benefield on March 10th, which a deputy stopped after he says he noticed a tag light that wasn’t properly working. As Mr. Benefield stepped out of the vehicle to speak to the deputy, the back-seat passenger jumped into the driver’s seat and took officers on a chase for over eight miles. Before eventually coming to a stop, a gun was tossed out of the vehicle, and once the vehicle was searched, 43 grams of marijuana was found under the driver’s seat and another 6 grams in the trunk. No occupants would claim any of the items, so they were all charged.
If the name KeAundrea Stovall sounds familiar, it might be because she went viral on Valentine’s day after posting screenshots of her social media inboxes, showing hundreds of messages from local men, many of whom were not exactly single, leaving their significant others not exactly happy when they woke up on the day of love. She since removed the post, however, Clarksville Today saved a copy at the time, and has republished a sampling below.
Austin Peay Police Officer Levi Grubb says he observed 18-year-old Najee Brogdon driving a white Kia Optomi without headlights at 6:15 p.m. on February 27th. He conducted a traffic stop and says he immediately smelled marijuana. Brogdon admitted there was a black satchel with weed inside, and Officer Grubb found 22 grams of the green leafy goodness. He is charged with felony drug possession, and a commissioner set his bond at $10,000.
Clarksville Police have arrested Cynthia ‘Katie’ Hutchins and charged her with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding “marijuana residue” (but no actual usable marijuana), scales, and sandwich bags inside a vehicle she was briefly in with Jocqui Smith, who they had under surveillance for drug activity. She is free on a $2,500 bond.
Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Beck says he immediately noticed how badly 29-year-old Dre’von Davis’ hands were shaking as he conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle Wednesday night. A search of the white Buick would eventually reveal a backpack containing over a pound of marijuana, vape pens, and a handgun. Dre’von Davis is free on a $20,000 bond.
