Carlos Pineda-Echeverria caught speeding in Lexus IS 250 down I-24 on revoked license

21-year-old Carlos Pineda-Echeverria was seen speeding in a black Lexus IS 250 on I-24 West early February 13th. An officer observed on his speed radar that Carlos was traveling over 83 mph in a 70mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted, which discovered that Carlos’s Lexus bore an expired tag. Once Carlos came into contact with the officer, he handed the officer his license and expired insurance. After running Carlos’s license, it returned under a revoked status for driving under the influence. Carlos Pineda-Echeverria was taken into custody and charged with a revoked license, no registration, no insurance, and speeding.

Adam Welch eats marijuana during traffic stop on Riverside Drive in Clarksville

Police say 34-year-old Adam Welch was driving for an extended period of time on the center lane on Riverside Drive just after 2 p.m. on January 11 and almost caused an accident with another vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and Welch produced a revoked driver’s license. Officers ordered him out of the vehicle and noticed green shake on his pants leg. It was quickly realized he had attempted to swallow marijuana. A search of his mouth was conducted, and there was marijuana in his mouth, which was retrieved, and a pack of cigarillos was located inside the vehicle. He was out on bond for two other incidents at the time of his arrest, both of which conditions prohibit him from possessing any controlled substances.

Shawntre Brown booked on warrants after she walks away from attempted traffic stop

30-year-old Shawntre Devon Brown is charged with speeding, driving on a revoked license (for the second time), and driving with expired tags after officers observed her traveling 55 mph in a 35 mph zone in September. As she noticed an officer was behind her, she pulled into Whitney Drive and parked, and walked away down the street. The officer stayed with the vehicle, and a short time later, a man came to get the vehicle, who turned out to be her father. He confirmed her identity, and the warrants were issued for her arrest. She was booked on the outstanding warrants on September 29th.

Serial shoplifter arrested again — Nefertiti Jones charged in $111 Walmart theft

28-year-old Nefertiti Jones was jailed on January 28th on an outstanding warrant from a January 2nd shoplifting incident at the Madison Street Walmart. Court records allege she concealed $111.09 in merchandise and walked past all points of sale to leave the building. Walmart is seeking restitution. She was taken into custody on this charge as police served an outstanding violation of probation warrant which was drug-related on the same day.
