Police say 24-year-old Tristan Hanif called 911 at 5 a.m. on January 2 to report someone hit his car in a parking lot on Polk Street, and a report was taken. At 10 a.m., two residents of Anita Court noticed their cars had been hit in their parking lot, too. A bumper was located at that scene, leftover from the crash, and the VIN was traced back to Hanif. During a second interview, Hanif admitted the he was drinking alcohol earlier in the evening and had no memory of what actually happened that night. He is charged with felony filing a false report.

Clarksville Realtor reportedly sent over 200 texts after being told to stop — Ruth Devito, arrested
45-year-old Ruth Ann Devito was booked on an outstanding warrant, charging her with harassment. The prosecutor, Lacy Outler, of Southside, says despite being told to not contact her multiple times, Devito has sent over 200 text messages which were annoying and alarming.
Palmyra man charged in assault of his boyfriend — Johnathon Brown arrested
26-year-old Johnathon Brown is charged with the domestic assault of his boyfriend, Daniel Senft, after he reportedly placed grabbed him from the rear of his hoodie and placed him in a headlock during an argument when Daniel brought him food. A neighbor, Crystal Brown, witnessed the assault and called police. Brown wouldn’t come to the door when police arrived but was eventually booked into jail on the open warrant on Tuesday.
Man confesses to installing hidden live-stream cameras in another family’s bathroom — Seth Armstrong
Clarksville Police say 27-year-old Seth Armstrong confessed to “giving in to temptation” and installing a hidden camera in the bathroom of a family friend who he was babysitting for on Tradewinds Terrace. The camera live-streamed images online so he could access the feed.
