52-year-old William Curtis was jailed on June 11th after his wife, Schnell Curtis, reported her husband struck her in the lip during an argument while she was speaking. Police responded to the Trenton Road residence, and Curtis was transported to booking. Officers documented the victim’s bleeding lip in the report.
Theresa Ball says she got into an argument with her ex-husband’s new wife on February 6th, 41-year-old Shavoka Reed, over disciplining her children. Ball reportedly picked up a pole and went toward Reed’s vehicle, and kicked it. Reed went into the house and retrieved a knife, which she used to stab Ball in the arm.
57-year-old April Rochelle Taylor is charged with domestic assault after her boyfriend, James Hatcher, says she assaulted him with a lamp during an argument. The lamp reportedly struck Hatcher in the wrist, causing it to become “very swollen,” according to police who took photos of the injury.
44-year-old Eric Sotnick faces a multitude of charges after police responded to a crash with injuries on Trenton Road on May 3rd where he was the driver. The crash left both him and his passenger, Kim Sotnick, unresponsive, and he fell out of the driver’s seat when medics opened the door. He admitted to using what he believed to be cocaine, however, he was revived with NARCAN, leading authorities to believe it was likely laced with Fentanyl. Once at the hospital, he allowed a nurse from the ER to retrieve a bag of white powder which tested positive for a cocaine base from his rectum.
