32-year-old Amanda Rose was caught dumping 15 pounds of trash at the Dollar General’s parking lot on Copperhead Road on March 19th. The trash was contained in several black trash bags and an Amazon box. In the box, multiple items identified Rose as the owner. Amanda Rose was taken into custody and charged with criminal littering.

Derek Rose attempts to use stolen credit card at Dollar General self-checkout for $11.27
33-year-old Derek Rose was jailed on July 27th when he attempted to purchase items from Dollar General on Fort Campbell Boulevard with a stolen card. The transaction was declined due to the owner freezing her card when it was stolen along with her vehicle two days prior.
Jemini Lyons found with Fentanyl, Heroin, & Xanax while shoplifting at Dollar General
24-year-old Jemini Lyons was jailed on July 7th after he was caught shoplifting from Dollar General. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed Lyons to have merchandise concealed in his pockets and a large amount of cash in his hand. When asked why he had the merchandise in his pocket, he claimed that he was “just holding it” but planned on paying for it. While emptying his pockets, a plastic bag fell out, and he admitted that it was 10 Xanax bars that belonged to him. Officers opened the bag and found a bag of a tan powdery substance and a bag with a pink powdery substance, and the 10 Xanax bars. The tan powder field tested positive for 1 gram of Fentanyl, and the pink powder for 3.4 grams of Heroin.

Christopher Lopez charged in $8K embezzlement from Dollar General in Clarksville
20-year-old Christopher Lopez signed a statement, admitting to embezzling over $8000 from the Edmonson Ferry Dollar General store in Clarksville. The manager of the location first began the investigation after noticing a loss of $200 – $300 each day Lopez worked. Lopez admitted to stealing cash and cards over the past five months, for a total theft of $8,320.
