22-year-old Amarus Labeee is charged with felony aggravated domestic assault after his wife, Tyvonecha Jackson, says she had to smash him with a vase in order to escape as he strangled her during an argument about how he wasn’t properly watching their youngest child.
Clarksville Police responded 1988 Keeper Ct. on January 7th to find the victim, Tyvonecha Jackson, extremely distressed and crying, but initially stating that nothing was wrong and nothing had happened. Upon further investigation, she explained that her husband, Amarus Labee, had strangled her until her face was turning red and he had to hit him with a nearby vase in order to stop the attack. She says the argument was about him not properly watching their youngest child. Labee had fled the scene before officers arrived.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Amarus Garca Nakeal Labee, and was served on him three days later, on January 10th. He was charged with felony aggravated assault (domestic), and posted a $2,500 bond via 2nd Chance 24 Hour Bail Bonding.
