68-year-old Janet Menzies, of Deerfield New Hampshire, was booked on August 26th after reportedly assaulting her granddaughter in the Baymont Inn & Suites parking lot on Holiday Drive. Rachel Joyce reported that her grandmother was trying to remove her child from the car seat aggressively, and when she tried to keep her grandmother from touching her child, she was assaulted. Menzies began shoving Joyce and pulled her by the hair. When officers questioned her, she corroborated the story but didn’t mention the assault. She was transported to Montgomery County jail.
Janet Dianne Menzies of North Road in Deerfield, NH, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 26th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $500.
