25-year-old Briana Salyers, owner/director of The Happy Vine Villa, was caught assaulting a one-year-old child at Barkwood Drive on April 5th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Salyers. Salyers stated that the child had a history of biting other children at their daycare. So, she believed the best thing to do was to show the child not to bite. Salyer stated that she lightly bit five locations on the child’s body, including the forearm, shoulder, thigh, back, and cheek. Briana Salyers was taken into custody and charged with child abuse on April 10th.
Briana Nikole Salyers of Barkwood Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 10th, charged with child abuse and neglect. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $25,000.
