21-year-old Rafael Torres was involved in a domestic dispute with his mother at Dawson Avenue on April 9th. When officers arrived, they made contact with Torres’s mother, who stated that Torres threw things at her and pushed her. According to Torres’s mother, the two had an argument about who Torres’ father is. After Torres’ mother refused to tell him who his father was, he became belligerent. Torres started throwing things and pushed her down, causing a large abrasion on her chest. Torres’s mother added that Torres had been drinking all day. Rafael Torres was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault on April 10th.
