37-year-old Jessica Gooch was charged with DUI Saturday night after pulling out into traffic and hitting another car leaving Billy’s Bar on Dover Rd. When police approached and asked Gooch to exit the Ford Focus, she was slurring her speech, unsteady on her feet, and had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her body. Gooch told police she did not have a license. She agreed to sobriety tests which she performed poorly on and refused a breathalyzer. Police asked Gooch how drunk she was on a scale of one to ten she replied, “two.”
Jessica Ann Gooch of Red Top Rd in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 5th, charged with driving under the influence, failure to yield right-of-way, no license, no insurance, and an implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $3,000.
