28-year-old Jacob Amon told police he was drinking with friends at a bar before they observed him traveling at 69 mph in a 45 mph zone on Liberty Church Rd. When the officer approached Amon for the traffic stop, his eyes were glossy and bloodshot, and the odor of alcohol was coming from his breath. A field sobriety test was conducted, and Amon performed poorly. He was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
Jacob Cody Amon of Tylertown Rd in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on February 24th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
