34-year-old Alexander Byrd was booked last week for assaulting his wife at their home on Hudson Drive. Officers first spoke with Alexander, who said that he and his wife had been drinking for her birthday and got into an argument, but nothing physical occurred. Kristy also told police that they were drinking and got into an argument, so she went out to her car to cool down. According to Kristy, her husband came out and started shaking the car and telling her to go back inside. When she went back inside, the argument continued, then Alexander came up behind her and restrained her by grabbing her arms. He was deemed the primary aggressor and transported to Montgomery County Jail.
Alexander O’Neal Byrd of Hudson Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 8th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
