39-year-old Melvin Wilcox was jailed on July 7th after stabbing his wife in the forehead with a pocket knife after an argument. Police responded to Franklin Street, where they found Shavonna Spade with busted blood vessels in her eyes from being severely strangled and a deep wound on the left side of her forehead. She was transported to Tennova. Mr. Wilcox left her the scene bleeding and untreated.
Melvin Wallace Wilcox of Randell Drive in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 7th, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100,000.
