Rowdy Clark jailed for DUI and handgun possession while under the influence

Officer Nolan responded to a possession of a firearm with alcohol call at I-24 near Highway 76 on the morning of September 16th. Upon arrival, 21-year-old Rowdy Clark was identified as the driver of a blue Mustang GT. Clark stated he was heading to his house from a friend’s house. Clark told officers he believed he had a green light and did not see the car in front of him, causing him to run into it. Officer Nolan observed Clark to have visible signs of intoxication. Clark was asked to conduct a standard field sobriety test where he performed poorly. Officer Nolan found a loaded Taurus 9mm pistol located in the driver after a search. Clark agreed to a blood draw and was transported to Tennova prior to booking.

Rowdy Wayne Clark of Karmaflux Way in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on September 16th, charged with failure to exercise due care, driving under the influence, and possession of a handgun while under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,500.
