DUI: Soldier Braxton Wells jailed after drinking at Electric Cowboy bar

25-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Braxton Wells was jailed on September 23rd after police responded to calls of a black Dodge Challenger sitting in the turning lane on Riverside Drive to 2nd Street for a few light cycles. Police asked Wells to step out of his vehicle and immediately smelled alcohol coming from his body. He had watery eyes and was unsteady on his feet. Wells admitted that he was drinking while at the trobuled Electric Cowboy and performed poorly on sobriety tests. Police found a thermal mug filled with alcohol during the vehicle search.

Braxton Tannerlee Wells of Toccoa Road in Oak Grove, KY, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on September 23rd, charged with DUI. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
