On April 15th, 28-year-old Alexander Torrez was seen drunk and sleeping near Fairfield Inn. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with Torrez, who was sleeping on the ground. Officers spoke with Torrez, who stated he had five beers that night. Officers could smell the alcohol on his breath and noticed his slurred speech. Torrez also believed a nearby piece of paper was a hotdog, making officers concerned for his safety. Officers took Torrez into custody and charged him with public intoxication.
Alexander Torrez of Louisville Road in Lufkin, TX, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 15th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $439.
