Tristin Wilkins grabs girlfriend by hair after confronting her for cheating

25-year-old Tristan Smith-Wilkins was caught after he was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Ashley Wilkins, while at their Old Highway residence on July 4th. Officers spoke with Ashley, who claimed that Tristan intentionally grabbed her hair. On June 21st, Ashley and Tristan had gotten into an argument over Tristan finding messages on her phone, which upset Tristan and made him accuse her of being unfaithful, causing Tristan to grab Ashley’s hair. Ashley informed officers that to escape the situation, she hid in her bedroom so he could not harm her. Officers later spoke with Grace Campbell, a witness who lives at the residence. She stated that on that day, while she was listening through a closed door, she heard Tristan apologizing to Ashley for abusing her. After this, Campbell claims to have witnessed Tristan become angry during another argument with Ashley in which he grabbed her forearm and pulled her to the bedroom while Ashley was saying, “No, Stop.” Campbell also told officers that the incident had occurred about a month ago. Based on the statements, officers deemed Tristan the primary aggressor, and a warrant was issued. Tristan was later found and taken into custody for Domestic assault and False imprisonment on July 4th.

Rafael Garduza-Salinas refuses to tell police his name while stumbling down Crossland Avenue

34-year-old Rafael Garduza-Salinas was seen publicly intoxicated and stumbling near an intersection on Crossland Avenue and Kelly Lane on July 2nd. While officers were driving on Crossland Avenue, they noticed Salinas walking and stumbling on the side of the road. They then turned around and spoke with Salinas. However, Salinas refused to give officers his name. While speaking with Salinas, officers could also smell the strong odor of alcohol coming from him. Officers then continued asking Salinas for his name. Despite this, Salinas refused to give officers his information again. Due to his level of intoxication, officers deemed he was a danger to himself, and he was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Wyatt Vaneman drunkenly fights man on Walnut Street after drinking 6 beers

19-year-old Wyatt Vaneman was seen publicly intoxicated and fighting a man on Walnut Street on July 2nd. While officers were on Walnut Street, they noticed Vaneman, who seemed to be involved in a physical altercation with another man in the middle of the road. Officers noticed Vaneman was unsteady on his feet and also reeked of alcohol. Vaneman admitted to officers that he had drunk six beers. Vaneman was then taken into custody for public intoxication and unlawful distribution.

Jaylin Ayer speeds down Fort Campbell Boulevard at 69 mph on revoked license

27-year-old Jaylin Ayer was caught speeding and driving on a suspended license near Ringgold Fine Wine & Spirits on Fort Campbell Boulevard on July 2nd. While stationary at the Park-it Market on Fort Campbell Boulevard, officers observed a motorcycle traveling above the speed limit. Officers observed the motorcycle driving at 69 mph and conducted a traffic stop. The motorcycle was parked in the Ringgold Fine Wine & Spirits parking lot, and officers contacted Ayer. Upon speaking with Ayer, they noticed that he had a revoked driver’s license, which has been revoked since January 25th, 2023. Officers also noticed that Ayer had more than two failure to appear in court charges within the last two years. Officers deemed that he would likely not appear in court again. Ayer was then taken into custody for driving on a suspended license and speeding.

Corina Garcia pushes mother during argument

28-year-old Corina Garcia was involved in a domestic altercation with her mother, Jessica Reeves, at their Power Street residence on June 22nd. When officers arrived, they spoke with Reeves, who stated that while she and Garcia were arguing, Garcia pushed her to the ground. Reeves had abrasions on her arm caused by the fall that officers observed was consistent with her statement of being pushed. Garcia was not at the residence when officers arrived, and officers were unable to contact her, so a warrant was issued. Garcia was later found and taken into custody for domestic assault on July 2nd.

Kavarius Moody stabs, slams, & strangles girlfriend during altercation

21-year-old Kavarius Moody was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Na’Shari Blackwell, at their Kingbird Drive residence on July 3rd. Officers were dispatched to a domestic incident involving a knife with an open line. During the phone call, officers could hear a female screaming in the background. When officers arrived, they came in contact and observed that Moody and Blackwell were both bleeding and covered in blood. Officers ordered Moody to put his hands behind his back and walk towards them, but they noticed that he had placed something in the kitchen trash can. In the trash can, officers discovered a used kitchen knife. Officers spoke with Blackwell, who stated that while arguing with Moody in the garage, he began strangling her with both of his hands. Blackwell told officers that she pushed Moody away, but he then slammed her onto the ground and began strangling her again while placing a knife to her throat. After that, she grabbed the knife by the blade to attempt to get it away from her throat. Officers observed lacerations and cuts on her right hand that were consistent with her grabbing the knife. Blackwell informed officers that this was when the altercation went from the garage to the washroom. Moody pinned her against a wall and began strangling her once more. Officers then spoke with Taylor Walker, a witness, who stated that she heard Blackwell screaming for help. Walker stated she came downstairs, where she witnessed Moody throw Blackwell to the ground, strangle her, and hold a knife to her chest. Officers then spoke with Moody, who claimed that Blackwell was the one with the knife and that no assault had occurred. Moody was deemed the primary aggressor, so he was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

25-year-old Teneka Jones was seen assaulting Katelyn Richardson at her Market Street apartment on June 16th. Officers spoke with Richardson, who reported that Jones had entered the bedroom she was sleeping in as she slept. Richardson informed officers that while she was sleeping, Jones had gotten on top of her and punched her in the face several times. Once officers arrived, Jones was no longer there, so a warrant was issued for her arrest. Jones was later taken into custody for assault on July 3rd.

24-year-old Soldier Lance Lisech was seen speeding and recklessly driving on I-24 West on June 29th. Officers observed Lisech’s white SUV traveling 97 mph in a 70 mph zone. Officers then initiated their emergency equipment and began pursuing the SUV. The vehicle then deactivated its lights and attempted to flee. The SUV exited the interstate at exit 11, reactivating its lights, and pulled over on the right shoulder. Officers then made contact with Lisech. Lisech was then taken into custody for speeding, reckless driving, and resisting a stop.

Niklas Sujanani kicks brother in chest causing him to fly backwards during argument

21-year-old Niklas Sujanani was involved in a domestic altercation with his brother, Julius Campbell, while at their Fort Sumpter Drive residence on June 25th. When officers arrived at the location, they spoke with Campbell. Campbell stated that he and Sujanani argued about keeping house doors closed, which turned physical. Campbell informed officers that Sujanani had pushed him towards the back door and then proceeded to kick him in the chest, causing him to fly backward out the door. Video evidence was then shown to officers of Campbell flying backward a short distance onto the porch, but it did not show who or what caused it. Campbell then told officers that Sujanani had locked him out of the house and did not allow him inside. Sujanani was then deemed the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Darnell Smith grabs girlfriend by throat & strangles her during altercation

43-year-old Darnell Smith was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Roshik Merritt, while at his Whitfield Road residence on June 25th. When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with Merritt, who stated that Smith arrived at the residence with a friend that Merritt did not want inside. Merritt informed officers that she told Smith she did not want the friend at the residence. Smith then proceeded to grab Merritt by the throat and begin strangling her, pinning her against the wall. Merritt noted that she felt like she was going to lose consciousness. Merritt then told officers that she, in self-defense, punched Smith two times in the mouth while she was being strangled to make him release her. Officers then spoke with Smith, who, when asked about his swollen lip, stated he did not know how his lip got injured and that no assault had occurred. Smith was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for aggravated assault.

20-year-old Devaudo Gordon, employee of Walmart, was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Selena Sudine, at a residence on June 26th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Sudine, who stated that she and Gordon had gotten into an argument that had turned physical. Sudine also informed officers that Gordon snatched her phone from her hand during the argument and walked away. Sudine then followed Gordon in an attempt to get it back. Gordon then pushed her away, causing a small cut on the inside of her lip. Sudine claimed she felt assaulted and was in fear of bodily harm due to the situation. Gordon was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Cobie Vaughns throws phone in girlfriend’s face after learning she was cheating

25-year-old Nacobie Vaughns was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Briauna, while at his Walnut Street apartment residence on June 25th. When the officers, they spoke with Briauna, who stated that she and Vaughn had been arguing before she fell asleep. However, she informed officers that Vaughns woke her up by throwing her phone at her, causing her nose to bleed. Officers noticed a mark on the left side of her nose where the phone pushed her glasses in. Proceeding this, Briauna tended to their crying baby after she had woken up. Officers then spoke with Vaughns, who admitted he tossed the phone. However, Vaughns believed he tossed it on her chest and not her nose. Vaughns also noted he only did so after finding out she was cheating. Due to the statements made and Vaughn’s admission, he was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Anthony Johnson punches wife in stomach after seeing her text another man

56-year-old Anthony Johnson was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Wanda Johnson, at their Sly Fox Drive residence on June 24th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Anthony, who stated that when he and Wanda were in bed, he noticed her texting another man. Anthony claimed he tried to grab Wanda’s phone, but she pushed him away with her hand on his forehead. Proceeding this, Anthony says he then got up, pushed Wanda away, and left the room to call 911. Officers then spoke with Wanda, who claimed that Anthony became upset at who she was texting. Johnson then punched her in the stomach before getting up out of bed. After this assault, Wanda claimed she tried to stand up from the bed, but Anthony pushed and kicked her back into the bed. Johnson then left the room, and both of them called 911. Due to the statements made, Anthony was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on June 25th.

Ashlee Knight assaults boyfriend with candle during altercation involving cat

18-year-old Ashlee Knight was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Anthony Salem, at a Keystone Drive residence on June 24th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Knight, who stated that she and Salem were having an argument. Knight stated the argument that turned physical, which was common for them. Knight informed officers that Salem was yelling at her and grabbed her by the arms before throwing her onto the bed. Officers then spoke with Salem, who claimed that he was trying to put their cat in the room that Knight was in. In response to this, Knight tried to close the door on him and proceeded to hit him in the head with a candle.

Officers then noticed a bump on Salem’s head, consistent with him being hit by said candle. Salem claims that he then continued into the bedroom, where he grabbed Knight by the arms and threw her onto the bed. This is when Salem’s mother, Jennifer Dickinson, stepped in and attempted to separate the two. Dickinson was the only other person who had witnessed the altercation and told officers that she was woken up by the two arguing, which was common for them. Dickinson says she went to the bedroom where both parties were to separate the two. Dickinson then told them that they both needed to leave the house. They both proceeded to leave the residence. Knight waited across the street outside, and Salem left with a friend. Other officers were able to contact Salem and bring him back to the residence to get his side of the story. Knight was then deemed the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault.

20-year-old Takeila Smith was involved in a domestic altercation with Ms. Mason-Austin at their Prewitt Lane residence on June 23rd. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Austin, who stated that she and Smith had gotten into a physical altercation. Austin claims that while she was lying down in bed, Smith began punching her, causing them to argue. Austin and Smith continued the argument downstairs into the backyard, and Austin claims that Smith then started stomping on her thigh while she was sitting on the ground next to an air vent. Officers then spoke with Smith in regards to the same situation, who claimed that Austin pulled her hair and pushed her into the air vent before punching her in the face using her phone. Both parties had injuries that officers observed. Both were deemed the primary aggressors, and Smith was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Robert Jackson breaks girlfriend’s windshield over argument

28-year-old Robert Jackson was seen vandalizing his girlfriend, Ms. Hayes’ property, at her Coyote Court apartment residence on June 19th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Hayes, who stated that she got into an argument with Jackson. Hayes told officers they were arguing outside before she went inside, and they continued arguing over the phone. While on the phone with Jackson, she heard a smashing sound during their argument. Proceeding this, she waited for Jackson to leave before she went outside to see what the noise was. Hayes claimed that once she went outside, she saw that her vehicle had a cracked windshield, and next to it, there was a big piece of wood and food wrappers on the floor. On the car’s hood was a cookout bag from the food Jackson had just bought earlier in the night. Jackson fled the scene before officers arrived, and officers could not contact him. The estimated cost of the windshield is $400, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Jackson was found and taken into custody for vandalism on June 23rd.

53-year-old Cheryl Scott was caught after being in a domestic altercation with her husband, Brian Scott, at Port Royal Vineyard on Port Royal Road on June 23rd. Officers spoke with Brian, who stated that on the previous day, the 22nd, he was hit by Cheryl in the face three times after an argument. Brian claimed that he was struck twice while being seated and once when he and Cheryl were preparing to leave the event. Neither Cheryl nor Brian wished to provide a written statement, although Brian did provide a verbal statement to officers when they arrived at his residence. Cheryl was then taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Marvens Francois causes drunken disturbance at Grayson Apartment Homes

29-year-old Marvens Francois was seen trespassing at the Grayson Apartment Homes on Nolen Road on June 21st. When officers arrived, they spoke with Francois and immediately noticed signs of intoxication as well as the odor of alcohol coming from him. At the request of the apartment complex staff, Francois was issued a notice of criminal trespassing. After being issued the notice and being warned several times to leave, Francois chose to remain on the property. Due to his level of intoxication, Francois was unable to drive, so he attempted to leave the property on foot. He did this while continuing to yell and argue, causing a nuisance for the complex’s residents. Officers deemed Francois to be too intoxicated and a threat to his health, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication and criminal trespassing.
