On April 21st, 61-year-old Calvert Nurse was involved in a domestic altercation with his stepson, Christopher Morton, at his Wheatfield Lane residence. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with Nurse and Morton, who were inside. The two were still arguing about Morton leaving. As officers walked Morton out of the home, Nurse spat on an officer’s arm and Morton’s chest. Officers then took Nurse into custody, and he was charged with domestic assault and simple assault against a first responder.
Calvert Anthony Nurse of Wheatfield Lane in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 21st, charged with assault on a first responder and domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500.
