Benjamin Dodd crosses multiple lanes and collides with Nissan Murano on Tiny Town Road

43-year-old Benjamin Dodd was involved in a car crash on Tiny Town Road on September 18th, 2022. Reportedly, Dodd crossed multiple lanes and collided head-on with a Nissan Murano. Officers made contact and noticed several signs of narcotic use as they spoke with Dodd. While speaking with officers, Dodd claimed that he was the passenger and that a woman named Shelby Hale was the driver.

This, however, was contradicted by witnesses shortly after. After being confronted with this, Dodd admitted that he was the driver during the incident. Dodd consented to a blood draw, which tested positive for cocaine. Through further investigation, officers found a pill that was identified as Oxycodone Hydrochloride. It was later revealed that Hale suffered a broken leg, and Kaelynn Baydo sustained a leg fracture and was airlifted to Vanderbilt for a severe head injury. Benjamin Dodd was taken into custody and charged with three counts of vehicular assault on April 28th.

  1. This is a cousin of mine that have never met & I want to know why is this being published after all this time? Anyway I would like to let him know that there’s not 1 of us that don’t have addiction of alcohol &/OR drugs in our family. Let’s break this cycle & show ourselves that we can do it & have a clear mind & live life with no mind altering chemicals. Don’t know you but I love you & I understand!
