26-year-old David Key was involved in a shooting at Swift Lane, late April 23rd. During the investigation of the incident, it was revealed that Key and Michael Colgate II were involved in an argument with a gun. Surveillance footage showed Colgate toss a firearm to the ground. Key picked it up and pointed it at him. David Key was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
David Cole Key of Old Metal Road in Palmyra, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 24th, charged with assault and four counts of contempt. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $75,000.
