On April 27th, 27-year-old Alexis Kirk was caught driving under the influence near College Street. Officers were patrolling the area when they noticed a blue vehicle driving onto a curb and then back onto the roadway. The vehicle proceeded to make a wide right turn onto University Avenue before officers stopped it. Officers identified the driver as Alexis Kirk. Officers spoke with Kirk, who said she had a few drinks at the troubled Electric Cowboy that night. Officers then asked Kirk to perform sobriety tests, which she accepted and performed poorly. Kirk consented to a breath test that resulted in a .159% BAC. Officers deemed Kirk to be intoxicated, so she was taken into custody for DUI on April 27th.
Alexis Jade Kirk of Oak Street in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 27th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,500.
