27-year-old Edwin Jones was found by an officer in the parking lot of Top Flight sleeping behind the wheel of a running car. The reporting officer proceeded to knock on the window for a few minutes before being able to wake up Jones. When woken up, Jones began to mumble to himself and refused to exit the vehicle until another responding unit arrived with emergency gear. Jones stumbled to the officers’ patrol car, reeking of alcohol, and refused to do any field sobriety tests. Jones was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
Edwin Jamall Jones of Parkway Place in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on October 24th, charged with DUI and implied consent. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
