The bar owner’s daughter asked Schmitt to leave due to his high level of intoxication. Officers already knew that Schmitt was intoxicated from a complaint they received from the grill. Once Schmitt was asked to perform field sobriety tests, he exhibited several other clues that confirmed that he was inebriated. During a probable cause search of Schmitt, a handgun was found between the driver’s seat and the middle console.
